"I came all the way from Mauritius to get a septum Perforation fixed and I'm pretty happy how everything went. The staff was super friendly and for the pre checkup and everything I had a translator so everything went smooth and the operation itself was a full success. The nurses were a bit surprised that I'm german and I came all the way to Istanbul for this, but I wantes Dr. Gediz Serin. He is a genius. I was a bit scared, because the perforation probably stems from a former operation I had in Germany, but I made the right choice in coming here."

"There is so much to say. We are currently under medical supervision for my son’s scoliosis, and can only praise the Spine Center under Dr. Alanay’s leadership. Both he and Dr. Caglar are very caring, and knowledgeable. The staff is extremely helpful, and attentive. We especially appreciate the comprehensive approach, as the center coordinates multidisciplinary specialties: physical therapy, thoracic and neurosurgery, bracing, etc. Tais and Gizem are wonderful patient care staff members, arranging for every single detail, answering questions, keeping everything on track. The shuttles to and from the airport, and hotel, are such an incredible service, it makes everything so much easier. The hospital is amazing; it’s new, beautiful, well maintained, with translating services though most of the doctors speak English. As far as Istanbul goes, it is a fantastic city well worth visiting!"

"⭐ 1 Star Our experience with Acıbadem Healthcare Group in Maslak, Istanbul during our IVF treatment has been extremely disappointing and stressful. From the very beginning, communication was poor and lacked transparency. On our first visit, we were told the treatment would be straightforward and that my wife would only need to provide blood samples to help increase egg production. This was presented as a simple procedure. However, this information turned out to be misleading—my wife ultimately had to undergo a procedure under general anaesthesia, despite us clearly informing the team that she would soon be flying back to the UK. This level of omission is unacceptable. Following the procedure, my wife experienced side effects that lasted for over 10 days. During this time, we received minimal support or guidance. Throughout the entire process, we constantly had to chase the hospital for updates and information, which should have been proactively provided. Another major issue was the lack of clarity around costs. Not all aspects of the treatment were included in the initially agreed price, which was never clearly communicated. We repeatedly encountered unexpected additional charges. The attitude of the staff was also very concerning. Many were dismissive, unhelpful, and at times outright rude. When we asked questions, we were treated as though we should already know the answers, despite this being a complex medical procedure. We were also pressured into purchasing excessive amounts of medication through a specific pharmacy affiliated with the hospital. There was no flexibility or transparency, and the cost of medication was nearly as high as the treatment itself. It felt unnecessary and exploitative. Additionally, we found it highly unprofessional that medication was handed over alongside what appeared to be a personal package for staff. Our assigned coordinator provided little to no meaningful support and only contacted us when payment was required. This added to the feeling that the focus was more on financial gain than patient care. On the day of egg collection, we were asked at the administrative desk to sign consent forms for general anaesthesia—without any medical professional present. This is highly inappropriate and raises serious ethical concerns. We chose Turkey for this treatment largely because my wife could communicate comfortably in her native language. Unfortunately, this made no difference. At every stage, it felt like profit was prioritised over patient wellbeing. We fully understand that IVF is a complex, emotional, and expensive journey. However, what we experienced at Acıbadem Maslak was a lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic patient care. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before choosing this clinic."

"I definitely will recommend this clinic, the personel and doctors team is great professionals and kind peoples! Professor Funda Vesile ÇORAPÇIOĞLU is outstanding specialist, runs a beautiful team of doctors, nurses, translators. Worth to mention nurse Sheima - she opens port system very good, and handles needles as a pro. Translators Malika and Didar are great at their job, and also has deeply medical knowledge, that helps to communicate with the team."

"Our experience at Acibadem Hospital during my mother's surgery and care was truly excellent. The medical services were of a very high standard, and the entire staff was professional, caring, and attentive throughout the whole process. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, which made our stay much easier during a stressful time. The nurses and medical staff were exceptionally kind and supportive, and their response time was incredibly fast — any request or need was handled almost immediately. Seeing your loved one receive such attentive care brings enormous peace of mind. We are sincerely grateful to the entire team for their professionalism, kindness, and outstanding care.
