"Dr. Mikasa is very personable as is most of the staff. The only thing I dislike, is the blood test results are difficult for a layman like myself to understand. You receive them by email. They say you can call and have them explained, but as a clinic offering “personal” service, I felt an explanation should be included with the medical data. But I highly recommend this clinic!"

"If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I wasn’t sure what service I needed due to the complexity of my ongoing symptoms, past diagnoses and the current medications I am on. I spoke in a respectful, calm manner and was interrupted twice while I was mid-sentence by the receptionist (male). “Western” psychiatry, as they say on their website — not even trying to pretend they care and in it for profit. $$$$$$ I’m not surprised at all."

"The staff and nurses at this clinic are phenomenal, and always treated me with care and empathy. The location is very accessible, and the general vibe is welcoming and safe. However, while Dr. Kissane is a helpful and likeable person, he prioritizes standardized questionnaire metrics over clinical judgment and patient input. Despite multiple clear statements that my symptoms were driven by life circumstances rather than medication issues, I was kept on a psychiatric medication for 18+ months - far longer than the 3-6 month standard for my condition. Every appointment included recommendations to increase dosage and extend treatment, with pressure disguised as 'patient choice.' My current psychiatrist was shocked by the duration of this prescription. I'm still dealing with physical side effects over a year after stopping the medication, which may be permanent. Be very cautious if considering psychiatric medication at this clinic unless you know exactly what you need and are prepared to advocate strongly against pressure to start or continue inappropriate treatments. The metric-driven approach may override your reported experience and circumstances."

"Very slow in terms of responding to emails. I asked for a Nexus letter. I needed it for my social security benefits and the doctor is yet to sent it to me after 2 months of being a patient. Invoices are however sent no more than 5 minutes after an appointment. Emails are left unanswered for more than 2 weeks even with multiple follow ups. I suggest that you definitely look to another institution. Here, only meds are given out. The welfare of the patient is little priority. Dosage is increased every appointment for more profit to the clinic. No other forms of therapy are given here. Only medication. The Doctor does not care about the effects of the medication in the patients as well."

"I saw Dr Andrew Kissane today and will be seeing him again in the near future. My experience was very positive with this clinic. It was very easy to find and convenient. All the staff were very professional and polite. Dr Kissane listened to my concerns and questions, and I didn't feel rushed or uneasy during the appointment, which I often do in such settings. Yes, its all quite expensive but I think its fair given the expertise and the fact its all delivered in English. Thank you and see you soon."
