"I recently had my ~70-year-old mother undergo bypass surgery at Asian Heart Institute, and I have mixed but mostly positive feedback. On the clinical front, the surgery was a complete success. The surgical expertise here is truly world-class, and we felt she was in the safest possible hands. The nursing staff (Rakshita) and customer care backend team were incredibly cordial, attentive, and took great care of her during the initial stages. The assistance extended by front desk (Tushar, Saarang) were very assuring. However, we had a poor experience during the post-surgery recovery phase. Once complexities arose that went beyond purely cardiac issues, the management and coordination seemed to falter. While it is an excellent center for heart-specific procedures, the transition to holistic post-op recovery for elderly patients needs better focus and smoother execution. Overall, I am grateful to the doctors for her successful surgery, but I hope the hospital improves its multidisciplinary approach to recovery - where the patient & relatives suffers - health & financial wise."
