"A rehabilitation clinic with friendly staff, whether doctors, therapists, receptionists, or dining hall employees. Excellent cuisine. Therapies tailored to each patient. For those who are able to walk, there are plenty of opportunities for strolls. A truly relaxing place. The only downside is the mattress and pillows; the mattress is too soft and the pillows too flat."
"Eight weeks after my total hip replacement (THR), I spent six weeks in outpatient rehab, and it was fantastic: the staff were incredibly friendly and dedicated. I left my second day of rehab feeling like a different person. The sessions were wonderful: group training, underwater therapy, therapeutic massage, strength and endurance training, free training in the gym, and individual physiotherapy appointments (thank you, Florian!). I regained my confidence and trust in my body. And you also receive very practical and comprehensive instructions (without the need for huge equipment) for the follow-up exercises you can do at home. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"
"Overall, I was very satisfied with my rehabilitation stay. All the staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and professional – I felt truly well cared for. A special thank you goes to my physiotherapist, Pia. She took plenty of time for each of my concerns, addressed my individual problems, and repeatedly showed me new, helpful exercises that noticeably improved my condition. The food was also well-organized, and I especially enjoyed the buffet. However, I do have one small suggestion for improvement regarding breakfast: the selection could be a bit more varied for a healthy diet – particularly the fruit. Three weeks of mostly bananas, apples, and rather hard pears gets a bit monotonous after a while. The rooms were always clean and well-maintained. The only downside was that the mattress was showing its age. Luckily, I received a mattress topper, which improved the situation – although I still occasionally had slight pressure points on my hip in the mornings. Finally, I would like to sincerely thank the entire team for their kind and dedicated care. You are truly a fantastic team!"
"Overall, I look back on a very pleasant time after my inpatient rehabilitation. I gained many positive experiences; the fresh air, the nature, and the opportunity to completely switch off for a few weeks were invaluable. Since the first week is dedicated to assessing your current physical condition, the therapies are relatively gentle during this time. They only become more intensive starting in the second week. Therefore, as a rehabilitation patient, it was advantageous that I had prepared alternative activities and personal training programs to make good use of the first few days. The entire facility is very large, with several floors. The room is like a hotel room, and if you're lucky, like me, you have a balcony facing the sun. The only thing missing is a refrigerator in the room, but there is one nearby in the common room, where you can also fill up on hot or sparkling water from the dispenser. I would especially like to thank the dietician, Shirin, who helped me find suitable dietary options that met my needs. It's also helpful in the dining room that allergens are listed for all food items, so you know what you're eating and what you want to avoid. I'd also like to thank the waitress Alla, who was very helpful with serving me. Special thanks as well to the physiotherapist Julia and the occupational therapist Christina for their exercises, which I enjoyed and found very helpful. I find the friendliness of the entire team highly commendable. If the therapy schedule doesn't match your physical condition, it can easily be adjusted at the therapy coordinator's office. If the therapy schedule doesn't match your physical condition, it can easily be adjusted. With the wellness package, I enjoyed the various saunas at a reasonable price with a 4-hour session (but be careful with the hot Finnish sauna, as it can be too hot!). The nearest bus is about 10 minutes away, making it easy to get into town for shopping, etc. The following are some areas for improvement: - The weight training equipment isn't ideal. I know this from years of experience at fitness centers. For example, the leg press doesn't allow you to push down as far as you can with my gym, which I find important for strengthening during rehabilitation. - The cross trainer shuts off quickly, even if you're just a little too slow. It's not suitable for someone who isn't at, or can't be at, 100% physical capacity. - Open swimming could be offered on two days a week, as only being available on Wednesdays might not be convenient for everyone. Thanks to the therapies, my hand strength has improved, and I can consciously adjust my gait to some extent. Admittedly, not everything can be neurologically eradicated within four weeks, but that's no surprise. A four-week treatment doesn't work magic, but it does produce progress. The positive experiences clearly outweigh the negative! -- An update a few days later: In my private training, I was able to increase my time on the cross-trainer by 17-50%, and at the gym, I managed 15% more weight with the same number of repetitions!"
"I have been visiting this rehabilitation center for the last 6 weeks for check-ups and intensive exercises, all carefully monitored by specialists and doctors. I truly loved the place — their commitment, professionalism, and genuine care are outstanding. The staff are highly skilled and always make you feel supported. I highly recommend this center to anyone seeking quality rehabilitation and medical care."
