"Excellent experience! Highly recommended."

"My wife pay 400k to see the doctor about a strong headache since she got pregnant. The doctor yelled at her saying "you are pregnant. Go home". So unprofessional. I highly recommend you to NOT go to Ban Mai Hospital."

"Warning to foreigners, do not go here. Unless maybe you speak Vietnamese and don’t use a translator app. Lack of respect. 2 of the 3 people behind the desk were laughing. Arguably the worst experience in Vietnam so far."

"I had an excellent experience at this hospital, especially as a foreigner who doesn’t speak the language. My son was having an asthma attack due to the change in weather, poor air quality, and smoke. Even though we were using his rescue inhaler around the clock, his wheezing didn't improve, and he was struggling with labored breathing and discomfort. My uncle recommended this hospital, and I’m so grateful he did. The nurses were incredibly kind and attentive. They took our vitals and walked us through the entire process, even going out of their way to escort us to the pharmacy. The doctor was professional and thorough, explaining the diagnosis, prescribing a nebulizer treatment, and doing a re-assessment. Considering I was in a foreign country, I had a great experience. The care from both the nurses and the doctor helped put me at ease."

"We went to the tropical diseases department on floor 3 (I was in contact with a dog in SE Asia and don't have the rabies vaccine). The older male doctor told me to wait 2 weeks to see if the dog dies and then he would give me the vaccine. This completely goes against all guidance given by other professionals as it states that if a dog's saliva touches your mouth or open wounds then you should receive the vaccine within 24-72 hours. I would HIGHLY recommend going to a different hospital, especially as a tourist."
