"Outstanding Care and Professionalism I had an excellent experience at Bangkok Hospital Siriroj in Phuket. From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, well cared for, and taken seriously. The hospital is extremely modern, clean, and well organised, with a calm and professional atmosphere throughout. The doctors were highly knowledgeable, thorough, and took the time to explain everything clearly and patiently. I never felt rushed, and all my questions were answered in a way that made me feel confident and reassured. The nursing staff and support team were equally impressive — attentive, kind, and genuinely caring. What stood out most was the efficiency and coordination between departments. Everything ran smoothly, from registration to examinations and treatment. Communication in English was excellent, which made the entire experience stress-free as an international patient. Bangkok Hospital Siriroj truly operates at an international standard and sets a very high benchmark for medical care. I am extremely grateful for the professionalism, compassion, and quality of service I received and would highly recommend this hospital to anyone needing medical care in Phuket."

"Never choose this hospital for treatment, you will get enormous motorcycle noise! The sound insulation effect is very poor! The nurse's attitude is also very poor! From the outpatient department to the inpatient department, the experience is very poor! There are many people at the front desk who are free, but it will keep you waiting and the service is poor!"

"My mother sustained an ankle fracture while on a boat and was initially treated at Kuraburi Chaipat Hospital. The emergency team there was professional and efficient. After X-ray confirmation of the fracture, we were advised to seek specialist orthopedic treatment and were referred to Bangkok Hospital Siriroj. However, our concern arose during the first phone communication with Bangkok Hospital Siriroj. Before any consultation, medical assessment, or review of imaging, we were informed that an estimated treatment cost of 500,000 THB would be required and that this amount would need to be paid upfront. We hold valid medical insurance that provides direct billing to hospitals. Standard insurance procedure requires an initial medical assessment and documentation (such as imaging review and treatment plan) before approval for direct payment is issued. In most professional healthcare systems, the typical process is: 1. Conduct medical assessment and review imaging. 2. Provide a formal diagnosis and treatment plan. 3. Issue a cost estimate based on medical findings. 4. Coordinate directly with the insurance company for payment authorization. Being asked about a large upfront payment before any clinical evaluation or insurance coordination created significant stress during an already urgent medical situation. We understand that private hospitals must clarify financial arrangements. However, requesting a substantial payment at the first point of contact—prior to medical assessment—raises concerns about patient communication procedures. We hope the hospital can improve the coordination between medical and administrative teams so that patients seeking urgent specialist care receive clear medical guidance before financial discussions escalate. Medical emergencies are stressful enough without added financial uncertainty."

"I had such a great experience at Siriroj Bangkok Hospital! Dr. Pathamaporn Siriratsattayakul was super kind, patient, and really took the time to explain everything clearly. The hospital staff were friendly and helpful, and the place was clean and comfortable. I felt completely taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend Dr. Pathamaporn and the hospital!"
