"After reading the reviews I was quite worried. We live 2 hours away and wasn't sure what I was getting myself into... as I too work in a similar center but in Tripoli. Went the day before my op, for the tests, the receptionist was helpful even after getting spoken rudely by the previous person. The nurses were really informative to all the tests I was doing and that took less than 1hour. Op done went to the room, clean, spacious. The nurses very helpful. Because I live 2hours from Athens. The paper work from the hospital had to get mailed to me.. as I had to leave as soon as I got discharged, due to the weather. The hospital sent the paper work the very next day. With a courier. I received them a day later.. (normally you would wait a week) I'm very pleased with the service I received and the attention I was give as a patient. Yes parking is a issue.Thats the only negative remark I have to give."

"I am traveling in Greece from the United States and needed emergency medical care. My hotel referred me. The health services coordinator called me at the hotel to discuss my condition and then conferred with the surgeon and determined I should come in. They arranged for my taxi from the hotel and were standing outside waiting for me when I arrived. I saw a doctor and received a prescription within 30 minutes. It was late in the evening and their pharmacy had closed, so the coordinator found me several 24 hour pharmacies nearby and arranged for a taxi to take me there and then back to the hotel. This cost only 339 Euro to see the doctor. My prescriptions cost only 16 Euro. For the same emergency room service in the United States, I would have paid thousands of dollars even after my insurance contributed. I’m very pleased with the service I received."

"Our hotel supposedly connected us with them through Cross Border Med Care because my husband had a minor injury (two sea urchin spines in his foot). Initially, they quoted a consultation fee of 300 euros, which we reluctantly accepted to ensure his well-being. However, upon arrival, things took a turn. After a mere minute-long consultation, the doctor insisted on a procedure without any clear information. When we inquired about the procedure and its cost, a peculiar and untrustworthy blond woman suddenly appeared, demanding a staggering thousand-dollar fee! This was utterly absurd, and my husband, sensing something was amiss, insisted on paying only for the agreed-upon consultation and seeking an alternative. In response, this woman aggressively pressed for more money and asked him to sign Greek documents without explanation. Naturally, he refused to pay more than what was initially agreed upon (already an exorbitant amount), prompting us to involve the hotel. Your conduct is a disgrace to Athens!"

"Had surgery there on Saturday January 17th. Staff from doctors to nurses and cleaning staff were excellent. Friendly, polite and comforting. Makes an uncomfortable and unhappy situation into something comfortable and much muchh easier to deal with. Bravo."
