"I had surgery on 30/06 and Josie took exceptional care of me! She was there when I woke up and offered me a ham and cheese toastie - which at the time was the best thing I could've eaten. When I needed help going to the bathroom and changing my gown, she was super patient and attentive. She even gave me a few tips to make sure I stayed comfortable throughout my overnight stay. My overall experience was great, the night time nurses were still nice, but Josie was on another level. Thank you team!"

"I had surgery the other day, and every nurse I encountered was truly amazing. They were patient, reassuring, and attentive, they made me feel genuinely cared for every step of the way. Their kindness turned a stressful day into a comforting experience. If I could give them six stars, I absolutely would."

"Absolutely exceptional. The staff were extremely caring and kind. Went above and beyond on all levels. Hands down best hospital I have ever come across. Thank you to all the staff for such high-level of service. 10/10"

"Bondi Junction Private Hospital was clean and quiet. My daughter had day surgery there and the process all went smoothly. The nurses were all very nice and friendly. The front reception was welcoming but obviously a little busy and slow to check us in. The doctors and theatre staff were professional and caring."

"Unfortunately, my recent experience December 9th at Bondi Junction Private Hospital was hit and miss — mostly miss. While my surgeon and anaesthetist provided excellent clinical care, the overall hospital experience fell well below expectations for an Australian private hospital at this price point. There were clear operational and coordination failures, including inadequate preparation for surgery, which resulted in avoidable delays and extended time in theatre. These delays were not patient-related, yet additional costs were later passed on to me, which I am now formally disputing. Post-operative care during the first critical 24 hours was also concerning. Monitoring was not proactive — I often had to call staff myself. My pain relief was ineffective despite high pain levels, and I found myself prompting staff to contact my doctors to review medication. I was asked about food almost immediately post-surgery despite being nauseous and on anti-nausea medication, and I had to request IV fluids as I felt dehydrated. My room air conditioning was not working, causing significant discomfort and overheating. This was not communicated to me; a portable fan was eventually brought in. Communication was also at times difficult due to language barriers, which is not ideal in a post-surgical setting. I previously had surgery at this hospital in 2018 and noticed a marked decline in service standards this time around. For an Australian private hospital, I expect seamless preparation, proactive care, clear communication, and accountability — particularly when patient wellbeing and significant costs are involved. At present, I would not recommend this hospital to family or friends, and I flew across from Perth WA."
