"I’m from the United States and have wanted the hair restoration procedure for years. My cousin told me that she has all of her work done in Colombia because of the quality and affordability. I was hesitant but I started exploring and found Colombia Hair Care. I looked at their website and Instagram and it looked very clean and inviting. I tracked down a couple of people from the states from their page, and asked about their experience. After telling me about their positive experience I reached out to Colombia Hair Care and talked to a man named Herney. He told me about the process and over days politely answered the million questions I had for him. After sending him pictures of my head he worked with the Doctor and set up a consultation to look at my options. After the consultation I decided that this was the place for me and all I had to do was book my flight. Herney took care of everything else. They arranged for my driver Julian to pick me up from the airport. I was an hour late but he was still there texting me. Julian answered all of my questions about the city on the way to the hotel that Herney arranged. The hotel was amazing with a beautiful rooftop view, pool and free complete breakfast. When I arrived at the facility it was beautiful, clean, and quiet. There were also beautiful views. I met Dr. Natalia, Mimi, and the rest of the team and I felt comfortable right away. People in the facility speak english and spanish so communication was never an issue for people like me that know limited Spanish. It felt like I was the only client during the time and that the office was focused on me. As far as the procedure I was shocked how comfortable and easy it was. Because I had such significant hair loss my procedure was two days. The pain was minimal. There were a few pokes for anesthesia, which is less painful than getting you finger poked at a doctor’s office. After that I did not feel any pain. So if you are getting 2500 grafts, you will not feel 2500 pokes. More like 5. Dr. Natalia and the team explained to me what they we were doing during the process and answered all my questions throughout the days. They also answered questions I had about the culture and I felt like i spent my time laying down talking with my friends, not like I was getting a medical procedure. They turned the tv on for me and we had options of YouTube, music or another streaming service. Before I left Colombia I went back and met with the team to do a check up and go over my post procedure needs. When I faceTimed home people were already giving me compliments just on the grafts and my new hairline. I cant speak highly enough about my experience. It’s beyond what I hoped for and if you’re trying to make a decision I hope that you go with my friends at Colombia Hair Care."

The clinic is located in the Q Offices building right next to El Tesoro, and the space itself is modern, clean, and genuinely impressive. They used a smaller punch tool for the follicle extraction, which translated directly into far less pain afterward and, I'm hoping, significantly less scarring (time will tell on that front, but the early signs are great).
