"If I could give this 0 stars, I would. My aunt wanted to process her insurance. First off, the staff was rude and treated my aunt as if she wanted to scam them. She gave back my aunt's diagnosis and told us to wait. After an hour, we followed up and she said our names weren't listed in the waitlist. Huh?! Apparently she needed the paper that she gave back to us. Very unorganized and unprofessional. Will never be visiting again"

"I was admitted to the hospital on April 19th, 2026 and discharged on May 4th, 2026. Prior to check in I had reserved a Luxury Suite and was entittled to the following: Consierge service Express Check in and Check out Kitchenette with Microwave and electric pot Air Conditioning 32" LCD cable TV Refrigerator Wi-Fi Telephone Electric bed Hot and cold shower Tableware Admission kit To begin with, I never saw or spoke with a concierge who was always unavailable. There was no express check in as it took over two hours for my 12noon check in. That day the lobby waiting area was almost empty. My watcher was the one who expedited the check in and check out process which was supposed to be handled by my concierge. What a joke. The tv in my room was adequate however the WiFi never worked, but I was being charged for a higher priced room. Very unacceptable! The telephone was not in reach for me to call the nurses station after I had asked six times to move it within my reach. I finally became very angry and the staff complied with my request. I had just undergone an 8 hour operation on my spine and was completely incompasitated. The hot and cold shower only produced ice cold water, not very accommodating for a so called luxury suite. For the most part, the nursing staff that took care of me were cheerful and very helpful. There were however, a few times that my watcher needed to find a nurse to discover that they were asleep at the nurses station or consumed with gaming or a personal conversation on their cell phone. Their were many many times that I sensed that the right hand did not know what the left hand was doing regarding the intern doctors. I found this extremely irritating and unsettling as they would constantly ask me the same questions of the previous doctor. My question is such; "Do you not read the patient chart? " Upon check out, once again my watcher needed to facilitate everything with no help from a concierge. Frustrating as it was we had to wait for all the doctors to submit their charges to finalize the bill. There was no advance planning, moreover it was a confusing mess. Waiting for the final billing I was in a lot of pain, and I asked the nurse in charge for pain medication and she refused because I was being discharged. I argued with her to the point of screaming and she finally complied. What ever happened to the hypocratic oath that caregivers need to follow?"

"I had a very disappointing experience with the tellers. The processing time for bills was extremely slow—I have been waiting for two hours with no significant progress. I also noticed that some customers who arrived after me seemed to be prioritized. I understand that delays can happen, but I would greatly appreciate better time management and a stronger sense of urgency, especially since the queue continues to grow. I hope the management can address this to improve customer service in the future"

"I am leaving this review to formally raise concern about my experience at Room 201, Doc Borromeo Building on February 27, 2026. I arrived at 9:30 AM, filled out the logbook, and provided my full name and HMO details. I informed the staff that I could not recall the exact date of my last visit (only that it was in January) because I was unwell with fever and a runny nose. I was then instructed to wait outside until my name was called. I waited for several hours and followed up three times, yet I was repeatedly told to continue waiting. Meanwhile, patients who arrived after me were assisted first. It was only around 3:00 PM—after another patient called their attention—that I was finally accommodated. A middle-aged staff member in an all-blue uniform with short hair stated they had difficulty locating my record because I did not provide the exact date of my last visit. However, this requirement was never clearly explained to me earlier. Instead of acknowledging the excessive wait time, the responsibility was placed on me. As a patient who was already feeling unwell, the experience was disappointing and unprofessional. I hope management reviews this matter and improves communication and fairness in handling patients.I regret that I did not check the reviews before visiting."

"We are incredibly thankful to all the staff, nurses, and doctors of Cebu Doctors Hospital University (CDUH) for the outstanding care they provided to our family. From the moment we arrived until the entire process was completed, we truly felt that we were in good hands. We highly recommend this hospital for their excellent service and genuine concern for their patients. Every person we encountered was very friendly, kind, and approachable—never intimidating—which made a huge difference during such a stressful and emotional time for us. Their professionalism, combined with their warmth and compassion, gave us comfort and peace of mind throughout the entire journey. You can really feel that they don’t just treat patients—they care for them wholeheartedly. Thank you, CDUH, for going above and beyond. We will always be grateful for the care and support you have given to our loved one. Truly a 5-star experience!"
