"I had a medical emergency while travelling to Mexico and went to ABC Medical Center. In the end, I was not able to get any medical support because they do not accept travel insurance and the out of pocket costs for the help I needed were very high. I will still give them a 2-star because they were extremely patient and kind to me while I tried to contact my insurance company and they also did their best to overcome language barriers as I do not speak Spanish. I would have preferred to talk to the doctors in private, but they made me explain myself at the reception in front of everyone which was really uncomfortable."

"Update: Unfortunately, I have to revise my review downward. I have been trying to get in touch with the hospital to receive my records by email, and am getting no response. I can’t phone and all email/form queries are being ignored. After the excellent care I received in hospital, I am surprised and disappointed. This facility was incredibly impressive! I came in after I turned my ankle over on one of the very uneven sidewalks. The staff - doctors, nurses, orderlies, clerical - were all amazingly friendly and helpful. They worked with my poor Spanish and made sure to bring in a translator when necessary. I was in and out in under 3 hours - consult, x-ray, diagnosis and treatment. The ankle is broken but I left with everything I need to get well. The facility is so modern and clean. And considering all the assistance I got, very reasonably priced."

"I had a Total Knee Replacement here with Dr Alejandro Miravete and I cannot say enough about the level of expertise and care that I received. Everyone top to bottom was friendly, caring and patient with my spanish that got even lower when talking about medical things. I believe my nurses name was Montse and she was excellent. My room was very clean and I never felt as though I needed anything more. Shout out to everyone here."

"I did a ACL surgery with doctor Mario Martínez Villalobos and everything went fine. The admission process was quick (I already had the procedure programmed with my insurer, metlife). The room was Clean, spacious and the nurses were super attentive and polite. The discharge process was a bit messy, and it took longer than it should have."
