"Got hysterectomy surgery done for multiple fibroids. Dr. Vijayshanthi from obgyn was very thorough in diagnosis. She was very knowledgeable and explained my case patiently and clearly. I had earlier consulted with Dr.Sharmila and Dr.Roshni for the fibroids and they were very patient and warm as well. All the duty doctors - soundary, judith, devapriya and Keerthi were all very understanding, caring and hardworking. Rooms were very spacious and the food felt apt for patients healing. Dietitian helped tailor diet to my taste preferences as well. The nurses in obgyn were all cheerful and very supportive - Soumya and Suma are very sweet people doing their best at work. All the doctors and nurses in obgyn department seemed positive and cheerful and overall made me feel at home and in safe hands during my difficult phase."

"Chettinad Super Speciality Hospital: B & C Block Overall Experience: Satisfactory Admission was delayed on basis of samples to be collected despite my Mother complaining about the Temperature in the Emergency Room. This was done as per their Convenience and not a very good beginning there. Room was allocated near the Nurse Station - Happy with this arrangement given the condition she was admitted for (Either arranged or coincidence) Doctor Consultation : Everyday a different Doctors come asking the same Question again and not sure of the Patient History. Negative Experience here. No additional feedback or instructions given to the Attendants. Food and Hygiene: Food was alright. Service was good. Requests were honoured at the earliest possible. Room was good and spacious. Restroom had a foul smell from the drain and this is due to the age of the building and not much attention given there. Dust is visible on window panes and roof in the building and the Hospital has no plans to get that cleared out. Not much attention given about the indoor ambience or air quality. I would not be choosing this Hospital again at any cost, given the Final Bill and the level of Service offered until now. I have personally been to Apollo for an almost similar condition and the Final Bill was 15k lesser than the Bill from Chettinad Super Speciality. Additional Information: My Stay was 7 Days whereas my Mom was here for 5 Days. Each Procedure or Diagnostic Test Price varies based on the Room Type and Insurance / Self Payment. This clearly shows their intention. Simply put, there’s no heart in their doings. Just for name sake! That being said, I am grateful to them for helping my Mom recover during these difficult times. She is better now. Thank you! A Block : General Hospital is strictly only for common ailments and wouldn’t recommend it for Consultation from my experience. No Doctors, just Medical Students experimenting on the Public."

"Feed back for C-section Delivery gynaecology department. Doctor - we opted DR. Vijayashanti as our Gynaecologist. she is well experienced and very good in communication with patient.She will not write more medications but she will repeat more scannings and blood test to be in safer side (those repeated things were too costly for us) and she is very polite and very concern.But in this hospital None of the nurses will not listen what doctora said.But always she use to push all the nurses to make them upto speed wrt to each patient. For my wife DR.Vijayashanti did C-section procedure and sterilization process everything is good. But post operation she did not communicated anything with Husband or attendir one on one/verbally. We use to walkin to her desk and catch her free time to know what happened how the things went. But finally I can say, she is the only one well experienced, gold medalist and most senior in Chettinad. We are happy with her. I can give 4 stars, if nurses and staff would in her under control I would ready to give 5stars. Labour ward: In labour ward rooms are Average but we'll cleaned/maintained. Since they may have lack of equipment, they will keep on change your room to make adjust other patients. Also the baby trolley they have limited, at the beginning they will give you to showoff but after some time they will took off to give some other patients. For me Post delivery after some 30 /40 minutes they said baby trolley in 5 mins we will return back but after 2 days also they did not, whenever I ask they said in 5 mins we will but no use. The duty nurses who are coming in night shift are soo polite and soo responsible,but who are coming in day shift in them couple of them are very rude and they will ask us to do all of their work. But the duty doctors are in both the shift are soo responsible. In labour ward washrooms are not that much good,taps are damaged and duty doctors or nurses should inform to maintainance department. Hope they are not doing soo. Coming to NST, in labour ward this NST machine sometimes not perfectly working or not showing heart beat reading exactly, due to this our doctor will ask us to repeat fetal Doppler test which will cost around 5k. For me once I repeated this test before 3 days of our delivery date. What I got bad experiences with nurses/staff in labour ward: 1. The day one, when I am roaming here and there with my luggages none of them told that I have my dedicated cupboards to keep my luggage. The next day one of the house keeping staff told me that, I have dedicated cupboards, go and ask nurses. Post I ask they given. 2. When they shifting patient from labour ward to operation theatre without me they shifted my wife. It's very sad for us.they were said doctor scolded us due to time delay so we shifted in hurry. 3. Once operation completed, they shifted my baby immediately to labour ward and shown me, and they told with in 2 hours mother too will get shifted to labour ward.but even after 6 hours also it was not happened. My baby was keep on crying for mother milk feed, i scolded them like anything for this much delay.then immediately staff went and shifted my wife after 6hours. They started apology by saying they are busy is treating other patients. Which means once baby delivered, we are not in their list. 4. Even with multiple ask, they did not communicated any evidence documents like what they covered as part of my package like C-section and sterilization and even baby birth date. Only verbally committed that too in air, when I ask for papers they said 10 mins, but even after 3 days no response.because they are not interested to communicate with patients.
