"I attended this clinic for an eye computer test required for a career. After completing the test, I waited approximately 30 minutes in the room for Dr Livingstone to provide results that were already known. During the appointment, I was asked several personal questions unrelated to the purpose of the eye test that try to discourage me. I was then told that I should not pursue this career because I had failed the assessment and would fail any future related tests. This later proved to be incorrect, as I successfully passed the following assessment at another clinic. In addition, the results took two weeks to be sent to the correct recipient, despite me following up about it..."

"My only regret is not getting LASIK sooner!! The whole team are so exceptional - Dr. Versace, Michael and Jade in particular. I was quite nervous going in but seriously had nothing to be worried about at all. The whole procedure itself only takes a couple of minutes, if that. And does not hurt a bit! "I had Trans PRK laser eye surgery at Sydney Eye Clinic performed by Dr Ilan Sebban about September 2022. While my visual acuity itself is good, the long-term complications have significantly affected my quality of life. After surgery, I returned to the clinic multiple times expressing concerns about severe dry eye symptoms. Punctal plugs were fitted, however they were the incorrect size and fell out, meaning the issue was never properly addressed at the time. I now suffer from permanent dry eyes and halos, requiring daily cyclosporine drops, artificial tears, and warm compresses, and I need to wear sunglasses during the day permanently due to light sensitivity. This is a lifelong condition that began after the procedure. I now attend the Dry Eye Institute on York Street, where they have been significantly more helpful and have fitted the correct size punctal plugs, something that was not achieved despite multiple visits to Sydney Eye Clinic. Although the surgery achieved good vision, the ongoing dry eye complications far outweigh the benefit. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this clinic for laser eye surgery if you are concerned about long-term side effects and post-operative care."
