"I had my appendicitis removed at this hospital on March 6th. Surgeons, doctors, equipment are at the highest level. BUT. The hospital handled all financial issues with the insurance company, so no one told me anything about money. However, as soon as my phone was taken away before the operation, my friends got a call from the hospital and were told that until they brought $1,000 as collateral, they would not start surgery on me, and my appendicitis would turn into peritonitis. That is, the hospital administration was blackmailing my friends. And as a result, they demanded 1,500 dollars as collateral (only because my friends wanted to leave a deposit in dollars, not in pesos)! What if I didn't have friends in the country, or my friends didn't have this amount? Would I have been left to die? When I found out about it, I was shocked. I still didn't understand what it was: the hospital doesn't trust the insurance company so much that it decided to insure itself? The deposit was returned 4 days after discharge. I repeat, there are no complaints about doctors, excellent surgeons, but the attitude of the hospital was absolutely terrible. I give three stars, because doctors get 6 stars, and the attitude from the clinic is 0 stars."
