"I had hip replacement surgery performed by Dr. Torres at the CEMTRO Clinic. Until I decided to have the surgery, everything was made easy and he assured me that everything would be perfect, that I would be walking the very next day, and that recovery would simply involve walking. He repeatedly assured me that I wouldn't limp at all, with such certainty that I never doubted him. On the day of the surgery, his colleague, Dr. Aboli, told me that recovery would consist of going to the bar closest to my house, and then each day to a bar a little further away. She also assured me that I wouldn't limp. I was so happy. After the surgery, in early July, I didn't receive any appointment for wound care or staple removal. The surgeons didn't see me either because they were on vacation. They gave me an appointment with them in two months, and in the meantime, one of their colleagues would see me. At my follow-up appointment, just 19 days after the surgery, they told me to stop using crutches and walk as much as possible. When I did, a very noticeable limp appeared, which scared me a lot. I called the hospital, and they told me they couldn't schedule me with Dr. Torres for another 38 days and that if I didn't want to wait, I should go to the emergency room. In the emergency room, the doctor told me it wasn't a hip problem and detected a Trendelenburg gait pattern. I went to patient services, but they wouldn't see me; it was also closed for vacation and only accepting emails. I pleaded with the appointments department, and they scheduled me again with the same doctor who had done the follow-up appointment. He told me to start rehabilitation a month after the surgery. CEMTRO doesn't offer rehabilitation with Adeslas insurance, so I had to find a rehabilitation center in August, when services were severely limited. I was evaluated by several rehabilitation doctors and physical therapists, all of whom agreed that I had a significant leg length discrepancy: my operated leg was shorter, which is unusual after a prosthesis operation. I don't want to tell you what the rehabilitation doctors told me about rehabilitation being just going to the bar. In September, I finally had my follow-up appointment with Dr. Torres. He performed a telemetry scan and told me it was incorrectly measured because it was being measured by the AI (Analysis and Imaging) and that the limp was due to a shortened psoas muscle. The report simply stated: “It's improving considerably, gait pattern is almost normal. Continue with exercises and see after Christmas.” However, the patient portal showed the following regarding the X-ray: “HIP LENGTH DISCREPANCY 13.71mm.” Rehabilitation specialists and physical therapists ruled out the psoas muscle, which was functioning correctly. I requested a medical report explaining the telemetry results. It took a month, after four phone calls and three emails. I consulted a second orthopedic surgeon specializing in prosthetics, who immediately confirmed the leg length discrepancy with a new telemetry scan, practically identical to the previous one. I returned to Dr. Torres five months after the operation, still limping and in pain, and with a greater leg length discrepancy than before the surgery. He told me that if I didn't trust him, I could find another orthopedic surgeon. He downplayed the situation and told me to do rehabilitation. I explained that it's difficult to request rehabilitation sessions when the only thing the report says is that I'm doing very well. He didn't acknowledge any of the disaster that had been the entire operation, my suffering, the abandonment by him and the CEMTRO clinic, or the limp, which I will foreseeably have for many years until I have another operation. I think it might be a good clinic if everything goes well, but if it doesn't, it's not the place you want to be. Since they've made the surgery highly profitable, they're not interested in anything else: not rehabilitation, not consultations, not treatments, not reports, not any follow-up. They try to gloss over the problems as if nothing ever happened. I think they're so pleased with their success that they've lost the ability to listen. I'm just saying, if things don't go well, you wouldn't want to end up in my situation, and it's better—because it's your health—to have honest people who are truly committed to their patients."

"I had an MRI and I suffer from claustrophobia. Paloma treated me, and her service was delightful: professional, attentive, and very reassuring. It's wonderful to find professionals who are both so compassionate and so professional. Best regards, Sira"

"The first step was the excellent service from the staff at the CEMTRO II Clinic reception. The second step was the empathy and excellence of Dr. Daniel Alberto Rodríguez Granados, who explained every detail of the operation and answered all my questions. The third step was April 14, 2026. At the CEMTRO I Clinic, the reception staff was excellent. The second step was the electrocardiogram, also excellent. The third step was the anesthesia team, equally excellent. The fourth step was the lab work, and the fifth step was, of course, the X-rays—all excellent. That's why I'm giving it the highest rating. My wife and I went to the CEMTRO Clinic because several good friends had had hip surgery there. Although I could have used the clinic's app, since I'm computer literate, I always prefer to call to make an appointment. They gave me an appointment for April 27th for the surgery. The operation by Dr. Miguel Almaraz and Dr. Daniel Alberto Rodríguez Granados and their phenomenal team was excellent, as was all the staff during the three days we stayed there, the 27th and 28th in full, and my wife was discharged around 12:00 AM, which is why I want to include it in this review."
