"Here is a cleaner, stronger version: I chose this facility as a private patient because the required equipment was available there, and because it is where my surgeon regularly performs the procedure I needed. I understood that it is a teaching hospital, so I expected some differences from a private clinic environment. The surgery itself went as planned. It was on time, within the quoted budget, and the medical care during the procedure appeared to be of good quality. However, the recovery room was extremely cold, to the point that auxiliary heaters had to be used to control my severe chills. I was placed in a private room, which appeared clean at first glance. Unfortunately, once I looked more closely, I found dried food residue on some surfaces, which was very unpleasant. The biggest issue was the lack of cleanliness and follow-up after I entered and used the room. Bodily fluids on the floor were ignored, trash containers were overflowing, and I was left sitting in a blood-stained gown with blood on the floor. Doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants entered the room, but no one addressed it until I specifically asked. To their credit, once I complained, they arranged cleaning and changed my gown and bedding. However, this should not have required a request from the patient. Food service was acceptable, but cleanliness was again a concern. One spoon had baked-on egg residue, which should never happen in a hospital setting. Overall, I found the actual medical care to be good, and most of the medical staff seemed competent and knowledgeable. There were some exceptions. For example, the surgical intern did not visit me before discharge, did not give me discharge instructions, and did not provide prescriptions. Fortunately, my surgeon had given me his phone number, so I was able to contact him and resolve the issue directly. My impression is that the hospital is disjointed, with different contractors or departments responsible for different parts of the patient experience, but no one clearly overseeing the entire process. The surgical care was good, but the hygiene, room management, and discharge process were not acceptable for a private patient or for any patient in a hospital."

"For sure it may be a good experiences on this clinic been for a long time pride of exceptional medical care. Not in our case unfortunately!! My wife had two intents to fix it and both failed. I’m very disappointed with the care diagnostic and the hospitalization reveals an institution in serious areas to correct in order to be what used to be. It needs an administrator. Judge yourself. There were not a thermometer for the patient. No Tv. Some medicine prescribed, the patient needs to buy it. Pillow was hard no to rest at all. Things goes on and on. I finish saying that the location is the worst in the city and we were using the most expensive an reliable prepaid insurance. Una muy lamentable experiencia en esta clinica. Tienen todos Los signos de una empress en franca decadencia.Su ubicacion en la ciudad es mala,su atencion al paciente y acompañante es marginalmente mala,no tienen Los elementos elementales como television, termometros,y medicinas recetadas que son de obligatorio suministro si se esta hospitalizado. Que Pena por Los paisas que han permitido que un hospital iconico se les este yendo a pique por una mala administracion."

"I spent 3 weeks in la clínica. I have had a stupid accident close to it and succeeded in making my way up to it. During the first days I was nothing but an aching body that had to be completely assisted by the nurse and nurse assistants. The doctors and nurses are very competent and did a great job to put me back into the world of the livings. but above all the nurse assistants were extraordinary in their dedication and empathy. 3 nurse assistants in particular brought me light and warmth in the deep hole where I had fallen. I forgot the name of the first one, whom I thank infinitely and for whom I have a lifetime of gratitude. The same for Veronica and Manuela."
