"I had breast lift on 29 May 2025 with Dr Jorge Planas in Barcelona. I am giving 5 stars because I’m thrilled with the results and the experience staying in the clinic was fantastic, but there is significant room for improvement in the aftercare, as discussed below. Here is my experience: I breastfed 3 very hungry little boys for 4 consecutive years, which left my chest flat, saggy and defeated. I told Dr Planas I wanted : small, natural, lifted, restored - nothing big or artificial. He listened and delivered, like a true genius / artist. I’m only 12 days post-op, but so far, touch wood, so good, and I’m very very very grateful to Dr Jorge. See after photo below - the before photos are too sad to share. The clinic itself is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The nurses on the day were just the best - reassuring, professional and competent. The food was healthy and good, and the foot massage after the treatment was an added bonus. I didn’t want to leave! Really, a 5 star service and top notch establishment- I have no hesitation recommending Part 1 to my friends wishing to do this lift also. That said, the after surgery system needs a total overhaul. Here are my suggestions for improvement: 1. Provide patients with a written document with aftercare instructions upon discharge (I did not receive this until requesting it many times, and a full week later). 2. Provide patients with 1 Whatsapp number that is routinely answered (I have 4 numbers, and it is extremely difficult /impossible to get responses from any). 3. Show up to follow-up appointments. I had a telephone appointment at 11am, and the nurse never called. I had to call and call and call, and finally I got through, but she had nothing to say, maybe she didn’t speak English. 4. Provide patients with a YouTube video of Dos and DONTs after surgery - Dr Jorge is Mr Instagram - this would be a very welcome addition to his other videos. After the surgery, Dr Planas told me not to lift my arms and to change the dressing after 3 days. But otherwise I felt very lost and confused once home: When do I shower? When do I take off the other bandages? How do I sleep? What foods should I eat to aid recovery? Can I walk for exercise after 1 week? Can I do low body exercises? I have a sense of bubbles in the breast when I bend down. When will it go away? Does it mean complications are more likely? How often do I clean the wound and change the tape after the first time? Etc etc etc In short, I will be recommending Dr Jorge to my friends, but I sincerely hope for the sake of other patients they can better organise their aftercare. It is my heartfelt hope that this clinic gets the recognition and full ratings it deserves! Thank you again Dr Jorge for giving me my body and my confidence back, and to all the marvellous, strong women that took care of me after my he surgery! I cannot express my gratitude enough!"

"I’ve tried countless times to make an appointment here with no luck. I’ve sent several emails and WhatsApp’d with two separate numbers, only to never get a response (one of the WhatsApp numbers responded but then stopped, I had to reach out every time to ask them if they could keep helping me). I don’t speak Spanish so I preferred email or messaging so I could clearly explain what I was interested in and needed for treatment, I’ve realized that translation gets misunderstood when speaking and I wanted to make sure everything was clear. I also really wanted to come here out of all the clinics I’ve seen online - but after a month of trying it’s really quite disappointing and makes me feel that are ignoring me on purpose because I speak English."

"Avoid this clinic along with the other poor reviews here, I can confirm that it does not respect your time. It is not customer focussed. The administration staff are also very badly trained - they do not try to offer solutions to problems, they actually create more. I took the day off work and travelled 2.5 hours to the clinic only to be told they had no appointment scheduled. I showed them the confirmation email but the doctor was abroad. Then I had to drive another 2.5 hours home. I reached out to the practice manager with a complaint but they didn't bother to respond, instead they put my back to the useless admin person who had caused the problem. For this reason I don't believe the clinic's response to other poor reviews here saying that the practice manager had resolved it with them. I will not be returning or engaging with them again because I've lost confidence in people who, depending on the treatment I want, could hold my life in their hands."

"Hi I had my first surgery in this clinic. I decided to fly from Canada to get my Mia Femtech procedure in Barcelona.what an experience. First I reached out on instagram.Got my answer and had consultation booked with DR.Frigo she was amazing very sweet and helpful.when we decided on the date I had my ticket and hotel all booked. Second when I arrived at the clinic everyone was very helpful I had all my preop booked the day before surgery. Special thank you to Kristina who was with me from day one make sure I had everything in English And translate for me everything when I was nervous .Which I was very nervous.she was with me every step of the way I’m very grateful!!! I had very great experiences with everyone who talk to me from the start reaching out to make my appointment to the day off the surgery to know people still reaching out and asking how I’m doing and how is everything.I absolutely in love with my results it’s so natural,exactly what I want it. "Very caring and professional I had a labioplasty two weeks ago, and from the very first consultation I had a very good feeling. Both the expertise and excellent reputation of the clinic, as well as the care provided by Dr. Beatriz Ruiz de Gauna Vives, gave me a great sense of confidence. I especially appreciated the full support throughout the entire process from the patient coordinator, Kristina. I never experienced a service like that before and now wish it would exist in every clinic. I never felt alone, and my nervousness was significantly reduced thanks to the warm and friendly conversations with her. It felt as if a friend was accompanying me. Even after the procedure I stayed in close contact with her and she helped me with all the organizational things. A very valuable help in a clinic where the doctors of course are mostly occupied with a lot of patients all the time. I am now two weeks into the recovery phase and have not experienced any complications. The contact with both the doctor and the coordinator is always available whenever I need it, which makes me feel very safe. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to fully evaluate the final result for a few more months, but from what I can see so far, I am very satisfied and would choose Clínica Planas again at any time."
