"We had a wonderful experience at the Shaio clinic. My brother in law was there for a heart procedure. I was blown away by the care of all the personnel and doctors. My wife stayed the night with him in the ICU unit. Several doctors and nurses were right there to help with anything needed. Early in the morning cardiologist go around to do the check up and share with the patient what is next. It was amazing service overral A+. Me and my family will be forever grateful of the caring and warm attendance. Way to go Shaio!! Keep up the good work."

"Haven’t seen a better, more professional and true caring staff in any other hospital (including US) than the I encountered here. My dad had a heart issue while traveling in Colombia and we came through the ER. He was admitted and spent there a week. Thank you to Dr. Jaramillo, Dr. Andrea Garcia and staff he came out more resilient than ever before. THANK YOU !!!"

"Unless you have a "plan complementario" or are paying for their services out of pocket (so, bring lots of cash), do not expect the star treatment, or not even decent human treatment. The emergency room is filled with people who is just sitting and waiting around in plastic chairs on hallway after hallway, very little staff for the amount of patients they have, most of the Velcro from the Blood Pressure Cuffs is damaged. The cleanliness of the place is rather poor; dirty bloody little wipes and packets of said wipes just thrown on the floors, stains on floors, leftover plastic pieces from needles, syringe plastic packages on the floor, and the bathrooms in the ER do not seem to be cleaned more than once a day and not very carefully, taking into account the amount of people coming and going from these rooms every hour. Not what I thought I was going to see, and not the treatment I was expecting from such a renowned place."

"If you are a foreigner and need help, please avoid this clinic! I went in for an emergency but having the insurance I could go (paying) anywhere! Unfortunately a friend of mine suggested me this clinic. i asked what was the waiting time, and told them i could wait no more than 30 minutes. They told me within 1 hour I was done, but they weee after my money! (keep in mind i am paying, and asked them if they had a priority service for paying patients). At the end it is now 5.5 hours and counting! They put me as an ordinary patient but making me pay as a priority private one! Too bad! You have literaly to go around and chase them! I had a cut that required 2 stitches! I am still here after almost 6 hours since you need to queue to pay as well (30 min now) ! Doctor nice and cool, others a bit leazy (at 21.30 emergency is full with the same people pf the 15.30). Lord help me!"

"if you are from the USA avoid this place at all cost. It's a piece of crap. My mother was there for an emergency and waited 8 hrs. We had to take her out and move her to another hospital. I gave it a 1 star becuase the option to give 0 stars didn't exist."
