"My name is Jose D Monge, I can only speak and write a review based on my experience. I am a Nasopharyngeal Cancer Survivor who had a high dose of radiation as part of a treatment. My Dental Care is very complicated due to the Radiation damage. One time I had a Dentist who remove a molar, after advising him of previous Cancer Treatments. He proceeded to remove the molar without proper precautions and, few months later I develop osteoradionecrosis a very debilitating condition with no cure I happened to be in Costa Rica while my house gets develop, 3 weeks ago I had a gums cleaning procedure and maybe that was the cause of having an infection in the mouth. Because the swelling and pain had increased I went to the emergency room at Hospital Biblica. While there the Ultrasound Doctor recommended me to see his Brother, Juan Jose Hernandez maxillofacial Surgeon right away since my infection was clearly jeopardizing my life With no hesitation my wife and I left hospital biblica to see Him. When I got there the Doctor told me what we need to do. The first thing was to get me in antibiotics regiment, in order to get the infection out of my system So we started a regime of antibiotics and HBOT treatment. While I was going there for treatment The Doctor spoke to me about treatments involving titanium plates, in my lower Jaw and also other treatments He was very honest and told me to see somebody else as second opinion since he was not all knowledgeable about my conditions and he humble mention that he does not know everything specially about my debilitating medical condition very honest and ethical on his part. I appreciated that from him. After 10 sessions of HBOT and Antibiotics my Swelling and pain have gone completely Hopefully it won’t come back the bacterial infection and I go back to the USA and see my Maxillofacial surgeon who had treated me in the past. The dentist who worked on me was so gentle and although no dentist visit is without discomfort, she did an excellent job and I plan on coming here again. I highly recommend their dental office.
