"Dhara’s clinic offer an excellent service, they always were awarded of me and how I was feeling across the procedure. They are really professional on the pain treatment, I always felt comfortable"
"Sad and unnecessary horrible experience at this clinic. I would give it a zero star if possible. Avoid surgeries here and see where else your surgeon operates to avoid what happened to me. I will try to keep this short and concise but it was by far the worst experience I have ever had post-surgery anywhere. This was my second time having a procedure done at this clinic and the first time doesn’t match the level of negligence and incompetence I experienced this time around. Let me clarify that It wasn’t my surgeon but the nurse and post op teams that made my experience horrible. In the 48 hrs after my surgery I experienced pain levels like never before. I told the staff from the moment I woke up from the surgery the pain was unbearable. I had to go back to the clinic twice to ‘manage’ my pain when it wasn’t properly addressed from the beginning. The solutions they provided would only last 6-8 hrs before going back to pain hell. I had to have a nurse stay with me for 48 hrs at an extra cost so that my crisis could be monitored. On my second visit to the clinic they gave me a ‘pain bomb’ which is a set of medications I had already had in my previous surgery and this time it was not effective so they kept making me go buy other medications on top of their ‘bomb’ which didn’t even help at all at a cost of $250 USD. The worst part was the negligence of a nurse who was given a syringe with medication to be administered in case of another crisis cause she claimed she’d be in the area nearby should I need it. When I needed the medication I messaged her and she first said she was nearby, then she said she wasn’t and that I should have contacted sooner (as if I could have predicted my pain level would escalate) I asked her for the location where she was to send a taxi or a motorbike for the medication and she responded she was at home already and could come by the following day in the morning, then wouldn’t answer my messages nor my calls. At this point I was in the worst pain, stressed, upset and it was a Saturday night and the clinic is not open. I had to buy so many medications, which didn’t help until finally my nurse was given instructions to administer a medication, which we could have had from the beginning, this worked. I filed a complaint with management and they responded via email saying that every patient experiences different tolerance levels and that they were taking corrective measures to addressed what happened. I responded saying thank you, but that does nothing to rectify the situation. Especially cause two of my rights as a patient, according to the World Health Organization’s charter of rights, which is a pamphlet they give you. I gave them the opportunity to refund me for the ‘pain bomb’ as a way to reinstate good faith and to validate the horrible experience and to make sure that there was a precedent so that no other future patient goes through this. I heard nothing from them after a week."
"No te operes en Dhara... Dhara is a failure. I’m recovering still from appalling care at this apparently flagship facility. Do not be fooled by the bulk of positive reviews. Read the negative ones - I wish I had but I trusted my surgeon who was excellent however still proposed this facility for my operations. The post operative care was somewhere between incompetent and negligent. The pain I experienced due to the nurse’s blind assumption that my pain relief dosing intravenous drip was working, (without checking) was intense to say the least. Furthermore, when I advised that I was going to vomit I was told I had been given an anti-sickness drug and I should be calm…. to their surprise I projectile vomited everywhere. For Two days I was unable to see or speak and had retreated to my inner cocoon to survive by focusing on my breath. I guess because I had no energy but whimper complaints, the nurses assumed I was fine. It’s now 5 days later and I’m suffering from hypertension for the first time in my life after being diagnosed by an excellent cardiologist - blood pressure still fluctuating between 160/110 and 140/100, I am reeling from the experience at Dhara. High blood pressure and low oxygen blood levels trigger no alarms at this facility!!! Like most negative reviews state - do your homework on the post operative care and hospital as well as your choice of surgeon. MY ADVICE IS DO NOT HAVE YOUR SURGEON OPERATE ON YOU AT THIS HOSPITAL. The Nurses overfamiliarity and friendliness is simply a cover for arrogance, incompetence and laziness. In USA and UK I would sue under failure of DUTY OF CARE but this is Columbia where reputation can be maintained with money! Such as shame as the surgeons and expertise in healthcare in Columbia is world class and far better as well as significantly cheaper than UK. But the experience is ruined by some kind of cartel influence that this hospital holds over the surgeons to refer operations here. LESS THAN ONE STAR REVIEW"
"I recently traveled from Miami to have surgery at this facility, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the start, I was a bit nervous about the procedure, but the level of care I received put me at ease. The nurses who took care of me were incredibly comforting, making me feel safe and well-cared-for. After waking up, the anesthesiologist was right there to check on me and even followed up later to see how I was doing. My room was spacious, exceptionally clean, and the entire experience felt very professional. I had my surgery on August 31, and I was the only patient that day, receiving undivided attention. Highly recommended for anyone seeking top-quality care!! My doctor chose this place which is paid by the hour for surgery. It is huge!!"
"My son was victim of “ghost surgery” at this clinic, DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. Please do your research and know your rights that you have as a patient, don’t be a victim of this highly unethical practice. We came all the way from the United States and we are extremely regretful, the sad part is that all the staff is well aware of this fraudelent behavior, but since its so profitable for them they choose to stay silent. We are conscious that this is a serious accusation, however we have proof and the authorities have already penalized the doctor who was responsible. Ya dejen de borrar el testimonio de mi hijo, jamas se tomaron la molestia de darnos alguna explicacion asi que tomen un poco de resposabilidad de sus acciones."
