"Having facial surgery is a very big deal which entails doing a lot of research to find that top notch surgeon who you can trust wholeheartedly. After many years of insecurity about my facial features I began this journey. I was referred to Dr. Picard-Ami by two of my friends. They spoke highly of him and received excellent results from their surgeries. He was very accomodating and conducted my first consultation on a video call. During the call, I felt very comfortable and I new that he was the right surgeon for me. I had other consults with surgeon's in the USA who did not impress me and I did not feel that they had my best interest. Dr. Picard-Ami is an exceptional person and highly educated and skilled. He is honest, empathetic, humble, funny and was able to keep me calm throughout the entire process from before surgery to current 5 months post op. The accomodations could not be any better since the Panama clinic is connected to the Residence Inn Marriott Hotel (with a clinic discounted daily rate). I did not need to worry about anything because he has a nurse who will come to your hotel room to assist with bathing, dressing and wound care, as well as offering other services such as lymphatic massage to aid in reducing the swelling. With that said, he thought of everything to make my surgery a success! Not only is he exceptional with his intelligence and skilled hands, but he is the most caring surgeon who I have had the honor and pleasure of being a patient. This surgeon puts his patients on high priority and is always accessible by phone or email with quick responses. The results of my surgery are beyond what I had hoped for-they are exactly what I dreamed of, and they have given me a new sense of confidence and happiness. "I travel to Panama annually from the United States to avoid the cold weather. Last year I decided to check out a plastic surgeon. I was interested in getting an eye and jowl lift. After meeting with Dr. Picard-Ami I decided to proceed when we returned in 2026. I was able to make my appointment and obtain necessary details from my home in the U.S. The cost was so much lower than I imagined. I would not only be getting an eye lift but a face and neck lift! My procedure was performed on January 8, 2026. I found Dr. Picard-Ami to be professional and also quite personable. He genuinely cares about his patients.
