"I came in for knee and lumbar pain, but as someone who’s claustrophobic, there was no way I could do a closed MRI scan. I even declined it before in the UK. However, Dr. Bashaar Asaad (orthopaedic surgeon) was absolutely outstanding. He stayed with me in the MRI room throughout the “entire” scan while the attendant operated the machine, keeping me calm and helping me manage my claustrophobia. No other doctor or surgeon would have done what (surgeon) Dr. Bashaar did — staying by a patient’s side the entire time. Truly amazing dedication. Well done to Dr. Bashaar Asaad, and kudos to Dr. Rami for having such an exceptional professional on the team!"
