"I arrived at the eye clinic on Monday around 10:00 with significant eyelid swelling, pain and worsening condition (swelling was spreading towards the nose). At the reception I was told “what am I doing here”, that the emergency room only works from 17:00 and that I should have found it on the website. However, the website states: “Acute admissions: continuous operation”. I was then sent to ambulance 1 “to make arrangements”. There I was only very briefly “examined” right in the hallway, without a real eye examination, and was told that I had come to the eye clinic and should go to my eye doctor (whom I don’t have). Given the visibly acute condition, I expected at least a basic examination or clear direction. Instead, I was effectively refused and had to arrange paid treatment elsewhere. According to the available reviews, this is not an isolated experience, but a recurring problem that clearly remains unresolved. One star goes only to the lady at the information desk in building A, who was very nice and helpful. Otherwise, the rating would be zero, if possible. I consider such an approach to be unprofessional and unacceptable for a medical facility with declared 24/7 acute operation."

"Personally, I don't really understand the unkind reviews, but I guess it's true that 100 people have 100 tastes. I arrived at the eye emergency room at 3 am on the night of Sunday to Monday, February 16. Right at the entrance to the hospital, I was sufficiently informed at the reception about how to get there, that I managed it even during the temporary blindness in one eye. The approach of the nurse and Dr. Kaincová was simply great. Both were very kind, helpful and tried to make the treatment of the damaged cornea as painless as possible. After the treatment, I received a contact lens and a prescription for antibiotic drops. Overall, I think the visit was completely problem-free. Thank you again."

"I had previously given 5 stars but had to reduce given a wrong diagnosis. I end up having to come back, still couldn’t figure it out; and long waiting time for OCT exam (2h+)."
