"I wish to thank Dr Chng Nai Wee, my opthalmologist surgeon at Eagle Eye Centre, for taking utmost care and professionalism in treating my cataract condition on both eyes. His team of optometrists and staff were efficient in carrying out their duties and the clinic is well equipped. I would recommend Dr Chng and his team from Eagle Eye Centre at Mt Alvernia Medical Centre to anyone who wishes to have eye care."

"I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Eagle Eye Centre, Mount Alvernia. I underwent eye surgery with Eagle Eye in July 2025 and recently experienced eye irritation that had persisted for about a week. Since I was already at Mount Alvernia accompanying my daughter for her appointment with a paediatrician, I decided to walk in to Eagle Eye to have my eye checked. After being accepted as a walk-in patient, I was seen by Dr Lynn Yeo. The consultation started off well, and she recommended that I undergo a CCL check. However, I explained that I was in a rush as I needed to pick up my daughter and would prefer to schedule the test at the KAP branch on another day. At that point, the interaction became very unpleasant. Dr Yeo responded with "up to you" in a dismissive manner and, in front of me, remarked to her colleague, "Then still walk in to see us for what?" I found this comment highly unprofessional and disrespectful. If walk-in patients are not welcome, that should be communicated upfront. Instead, I was accepted for consultation, only to be made to feel like I had inconvenienced the clinic because I could not stay for an additional test on the spot. As a returning patient who had previously undergone surgery with Eagle Eye, I expected a much higher standard of professionalism and patient care. Patients may have genuine time constraints, and declining an immediate test should not result in being spoken to in such a manner. This experience left me feeling disappointed and unwelcome. I hope Eagle Eye reviews its patient service standards to ensure that all patients are treated with respect, regardless of whether they proceed with every recommended test during the same visit."

"I’ve been coming to this clinic for the longest time to see Dr. Stephen Teoh, the kindest doc. Also thanks to Shandy for the excellent service and kindness. The experience on this clinic has always been good. The clinic is efficient and professional. Waiting time is not bad even with many people. Usually spend 1-2 hrs here. Highly recommended."

"Had my LASIK done with Dr. Jacob at Eagle Eye @ Mt Alvernia and it was a great experience! The team was professional and assuring, and Dr. Jacob made the whole process very smooth, comfortable and stress-free. The procedure was much easier than I had imagined. Happy to get back my 20/20 and wish I’ve done it earlier. Highly recommend if you’re considering LASIK!"

"I was recommended by a friend to see Dr Chng as I knew something is amiss with my vision. Migraines or headaches, unclear eyesight even with change in prescriptive glasses made me go see an eye specialist. I felt comfortable on my first visit to Dr Chng, he was able to articulate well the condition of my eyes and the solution and expectation after surgery. With his 30yrs experience, he gave me confidence to give him trust to operate on my eyes and the post care advice given. Thank you Dr Chng for successfully helping me restore my eyesight, cataract & narrow angle issue to prevent Glaucoma attacks."

"Dr. Chng NaiWee was totally fantastic, and beyond words. It was close to 9pm on a Friday night, the evening before our family was due to fly off at 6 am the next morning for our family vacation. Our daughter, Edna called to tell us that she is currently at the A&E at NUH with a severe case of eye infection. The eye doctor at NUH had ordered an autopsy of the infected part, and instructed her to return for the follow up next morning. Meaning our long awaited family vacation would be totally disrupted. Immediately we thought of Dr.Chng and called for his opinion. Without hesitation, he suggested that we bring our daughter to him for an examination. By the time we made it to Eagle Eyes at Mt.Alvernia it was nearing 11 pm! Not everyday we get to see such a dedicated doctor to open the door to the clinic, turn on the light, and proceeded with the examinations of a patient. Any other doctors might just said to go to an emergency department, instead. Which is totally understandable. Dr.Chng assessed the conditions and gave the okay for her to travel. We were so relieved and we could see the joy in Edna's eyes. There were some hiccups still that resulted in Edna joining us a day later. But that was in our opinion due the mismanagement from NUH side that we can share on another occasion. Dr.Chng continued with the follow up while we were overseas, and attended to Edna as soon as she got back to Singapore. The episode brought us closer with Dr.Chng and our family are all in his good hands now. We are forever indebted to him for his dedication and cares. And would not hesitate in making recommendation for the care by Dr.Chng."
