"I walk into a children's medical center in the center of a highly spiritual Christian country, and there they're showing a horned man on the screens—some movie on a notorious children's channel linked to child abuse. Not about princesses, not about rabbits, but about a man with horns, dressed in black, with blood, magic, and all that other devilry. What's going on? Do people live in a vacuum? They see it's a "children's" channel, so we're all on board? Don't we read the news? Don't we go to church? Why support such companies? Does Greece not have its own children's programming?"

"I've been coming to this hospital since 2021,bcs of my private insurance cooperate with them. But honestly the worst service ever. They are extremely slow, the stuff in most cases doesn't understand anything. Expecially if you need to do several things. They do random tests just to take more money. Even now while im writing this I already spent waiting for 1,5 hours for them to take my blood for a blood tests. My mistake was that i showed them 2 papers and i had two questions. One regarding cost of CT analysis and the second one regarding the blood tests that i need to do immediately. Somehow they disregarded my blood tests and focused only on CT.... And im still waiting..."

"What a ridiculous excuse for a hospital! We took my 3 year old son for a consultation after a week of feeling low with mild coughing spells. Upon further investigation through x-ray, they found out he had pneumonia. They immediately decided he was to be hospitalized and to be prescribed antibiotics intravenously without any further medical tests or informationas to why this was the case. When we demanded for more information, three doctors ganged up on us spewing medical jargon to try to convince us to proceed with their plan. They were completely obstinate, gaslighting both my husband and I throughout the entire 4 hours we were there. When we decided that we wanted to avoid hospitalization because we weren't comfortable with their prescription (only based on an x-ray that other paediatricians confirmed wasn't as an exaggerated situation as they were making it out to seem), they outright refused to prescribe ANY antibiotics for our 3 year old. A bill of €200 for zero benefit and a 4 hour spent wasting time instead of getting the help we needed for our child. Absolutely ridiculous doctors and establishment. Never again! It was clearly a baseless ploy to try suck as much money out of our insurance plan as they could. So obvious and pathetic!"

"Extremely Disappointing Experience at Athens Euroclinic In December, I underwent surgery at Athens Euroclinic under the care of Dr. Thalia Petropoulou. What was presented as a routine robotic-assisted procedure turned into a 7-hour operation, with no explanation provided before or after. I was discharged after one night with no pain medication, no antibiotics, and no clear post-operative instructions. The nursing staff appeared inexperienced and showed little compassion. I was repeatedly pricked and bruised by unnecessary needle insertions, with no one explaining what was being done or why. There was no sense of personalized care — I was treated more like a billing opportunity than a patient. In fact, I later learned that over €34,000 was billed to my insurance, despite minimal care and a significantly shorter stay than estimated. The only person who showed genuine compassion was a cleaning staff member who noticed me crying quietly in my bed and came over to hold my hand — something no nurse or doctor did. That moment of human kindness stood in stark contrast to the otherwise cold, disorganized, and transactional environment. Months later, I continue to deal with complications and unanswered questions. I would urge anyone considering treatment at this facility to ask hard questions about both care and costs. My experience was not just disappointing — it was dehumanizing."

"I would like to sincerely thank the doctor who treated me — Dr. Evangelos Mourikis. Even though I don’t speak Greek or English, he explained everything wonderfully through a translator — clearly, simply, and with great care. He was very attentive and kind, which gave me a sense of calm and confidence in a difficult moment, especially being in a foreign country. I came to the clinic through my travel insurance, and even when I returned the next day to get a medical certificate for flying — on his day off — he still found the time to come and help me. He quickly found the right brace for my leg, knowing that I had very little time before my flight. He reassured me, telling me everything would be fine and that I’d make it on time. Dr. Mourikis didn’t just provide professional medical care — he also gave me a sense of safety and warmth when I needed it most. I’m truly grateful to him for that. Please pass along my heartfelt thanks to him — he is a true professional and a very kind person."
