"My partner and I began our fertility journey after moving to Costa Rica, and we were understandably nervous about navigating such an important process in a new country while speaking only minimal Spanish. From the very beginning, Azul Fertility Clinic made us feel safe, supported, and truly cared for. We chose Azul for several services, including the ROPA method, PGT-A testing, and egg freezing. Today, we are six months pregnant with our first baby, and we plan to return later this year for our second implantation (and hopefully, pregnancy). The psychologist we met with was thoughtful and engaged, helping ease many of the emotional aspects that can come with fertility treatment. The biologist was also extremely knowledgeable and took time to explain things clearly, which helped us feel confident and informed. Azul Fertility Specialist Clinic made it clear—through both their words and their actions—that we were not alone in this process. At every step, we felt that the entire team was truly in our corner, supporting us as we built our family. "This process wasn’t easy at all… Sometimes we have so much faith and hope that everything will go perfectly from the very beginning, but unfortunately, it doesn’t always happen that way. This journey taught me to have patience, faith, and to trust in God’s timing. Things don’t always happen how we want, but how God wants, and when He decides. "We had an excellent experience with this clinic and truly felt we were in the hands of someone who knew exactly what they were doing. The doctor’s approach struck a perfect balance—he shares information when you ask, without overwhelming you, which really helped keep anxiety at bay during an already emotional process. The entire team is amazing. From the embryologist to the nurses and the wonderful reception staff, we always felt supported and cared for. While Dr. Azulay can come across as serious—which is understandable given how many patients he sees—I always felt he knew my history and had a clear, thoughtful plan for MY treatment. At other clinics, I sometimes felt like my case was forgotten or confused with others, and the experience could feel cold or discouraging. That was never the case here. I clearly remember walking into the doctor’s office, sharing everything I had been through, and explaining that I wanted to move straight to IVF due to timing and insurance constraints. He and the entire team truly went the extra mile to make that happen. Saying goodbye to the team has been hard because they truly became part of our lives. At the same time, we are incredibly grateful to God and to all of them that this goodbye comes with our baby safe and growing strong inside me. We feel incredibly lucky and grateful.
