"I would like to thank Groote Schuur Hospital and the Groote Schuur Orthopaedic Clinic for the excellent care I received. After a serious motorcycle accident left me with a significant lower limb injury that affected my ability to walk since 2024, I consulted multiple doctors in both private and government sectors. Unfortunately, I did not experience much improvement. When I was referred to Prof/Dr Maritz Laubscher and his team early in 2025, things finally changed. My medical history was properly reviewed, a clear treatment plan was put in place, and I began seeing real progress. Today, I am able to walk 100% again. In addition, the wards are extremely clean and well maintained. Every nurse I interacted with was professional, attentive, and supportive throughout my stay. Thank you to Prof/Dr Laubscher and the entire team for their expertise and quality care. Highly recommended."

"I had the worse hospital experience of my life at this place. It didnt took a long for the first service. But they took me to a hospital bed and didnt say nothing for almost 12h.. I took 6 hours to have a serum and I was about 20 hours without drinking water.. the Doctor Salome Kok performed an IV in my arm as if I were a horse, and it still hurts to this day... the treatment was extremely inhumane, I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone."
