"At Hanyang University Hospital, I met the most caring doctors and nurses. My Mum got seriously ill while on holiday in Korea from Australia and was in the ICU for more than 1 month. The doctors did a good job to help her recover. Their caring attitude towards me and my mum really helped me cope with that difficult situation. I am forever grateful Prof Lee, Dr Song and Dr Ji as well as the nurses in the ICU. The only reason why I rate 4 star is the absence of an English interpreter."

"I brought my son to this hospital due to dehydration few days ago when I visited Korea for medical conference. The nurses were kind, doctors were okay but they were too lab-dependent resulting in over-examination, but the security was the worst. I came to the ER with my Korean friend and we got handband as patient’s companions and they told us that only 2 persons could accompany the patient. At first, the security asked me to write my son’s name using HANGEUL (can’t your security read latin alphabet??). Then after few hours later my friend went back home and my mom accompanied me at the ER and the security forced my mom to get out of ER. I really wanted to punch his face. My son was not in a good condition with dehydration and hypoglycemia and your security acted arrogantly like we wouldn’t be able to afford the hospital bill. Fortunately, he didn’t show up when we were discharged in the morning. I would slap him with my payment invoice if I met him."

"Last year, I was a student at Hanyang University. I was having coffee with a friend when suddenly I started feeling dizzy, so I went to this hospital. At first, they told me they could treat me in an hour, which seemed like too long. I asked the doctor how much it would cost, and he said no more than ₩100,000. I was admitted after 20 minutes, but instead of taking me inside the hospital, they put me in a metal cubicle where I stayed for hours while they ran tests. In the end, they told me I had experienced an anxiety attack, which didn't make sense. I had to pay ₩914,460, even though I had international, national, and Hanyang University health insurance. I also had a large bruise on my right arm for two weeks because they inserted an IV incorrectly. A few days later, while having coffee again, I experienced the same symptoms, meaning I didn't react well to the coffee. Apparently, this happens to many non-Koreans since Korean coffee is very strong for some of us. I conclude this text by confirming that my experience at this hospital was horrible, with shameful and degrading treatment, and I felt swindled because I wasn't Korean."

"Never ever going back there again. It’s just a rip-off for medical-travellers. Better go to Yonsei Severance hospital instead same price, but better service. I have spent here around 6 million won just to visit Dermatologist and Gastroenterologist. After making the all un examinations you will get like 2-3 min to meet with doctor to hear your results. So even to I told I did make all examinations at my home country and I know I did had this kind issues I need treatment they still gave me the same treatment I was prescribed before, which didn’t help me at all."
