"My kid was ill since few days and I went to emergency department of Klinikum Harlaching- kinder notfall on a Friday evening . the staff was really good and welcoming , after 1 hour of waiting time the doctor called us. The Doctor - Paediatrician Charlotte Pfrimmer listened to us very carefully , she speaks really good English .. She took her own time to diagnose my kid , checked each and every details , even more than my Kinderartz , and also immediately ordered snell test for Flu/RSV , and got done in minutes. Initially I was bit disappointed and furious as she did not prescribed any antibiotics after the test , but still she treated us with respect and patience and with full focus. She also provided us with treatment guidance and care process, and my daughter got well in just 2 days following her suggestions . I have lot of respect for Dr . Charlotte Pfrimmer , her attitude , her professionalism . Kudos to you Ma’am .. 🫡👍.. We need more and more Doctors like you :)"
"I would give ten stars if I could!!! I honestly cannot understand the bad reviews, but I guess no day is the same in a hospital environment and sometimes people have to wait because there are more serious emergencies to take care of. I arrived with my son this past Saturday with the ambulance and from the moment we got there we've been taken care of by the most wonderful, caring, patient and gentle doctors and nurses who all made us feel like there was nothing more important than explaining the rather complicated fracture my son suffered and what was ahead. We arrived around 14h00 at the emergency unit and by 18h00 he was already out of surgery. The surgeon did an amazing job at fixing his broken humerus and I really cannot thank everyone enough for how much they helped us through this horrible day. They even organized a bed for me to sleep next to him and toiletries, toothpaste plus dinner for both of us, so that we could be as comfortable as possible. The way the doctors and nurses managed to take away my son's fear before his first surgery ever was just amazing. Nothing felt rushed but everything was attended to fast. Thank you a million times for taking such good care of my boy (and his rather anxioux Mom). Should we ever need medical care again I would come back here in a heartbeat."
"I am a foreigner, who got hit by a drunk German driver so they brought me into the hospital for treatment. After emergency surgery, I had to stay in ICU for bit less than a week. The nurses there lack quite a lot of empathy, except for 1 night nurse Ali, he was kinda only one who treated me well. Nurse Gabriela told me there at one point that crying and whining wont help (i got multiple traumas, including nerve damage in right hand so im unable to move it) and that I should be grateful to God I'm alive. My boyfriend was with me at the time and even he was shocked by her attitude. The doctor there assumed I have gallstones without actually doing tests bc I developed pain in my lower intestines while in ICU, yet they always delayed giving me pain meds for it nor was I offered any testing. They just said it's bc I'm not moving/eating much. After the week I got moved to a normal station for longer care (until I can be discharged). The nurses are all very nice, check up on you often and treat you like human. They surely have more empathy for the patients than nurses in ICU. Food is good imo, can't complain much. In total, I'd say the hospital is 3/5, depends much on what you have and what you need."
"I went to emergency they made me waited for 4 hours and neurologist female inexperienced doctor attended me , she was extremely rude. She checked me and said your condition is not bad then she went out and came back your condition is critical and you have to be admitted we can do MRI tomorrow only outside you can’t have MRI instantly . I have private insurance still I got very bad room with no food and they were not allowing my family so I can eat. Next day , other nurse come and said MRI is not working you have to be admitted for next four days only then we can do MRI. I fell more sick there and I had to get discharge and got MRI instantly outside of this hospital. Horrible experience. And the Neurologie doctor/student female one she is horrible doesn’t know how to talk"
"Avoid this hospital at all cost! I was having a medical emergency in my hotel. The EMTs that came were amazing! I wish I could’ve gotten their name and given them a hug. They took me into the er, with my American insurance card and ID. The admin lady, who was Eastern European and spoke no English, was arguing with the EMTs about my American insurance, which lasted about 15 minutes. The EMTs were in shock at her behavior. I was finally able to see a doctor after about 40 minutes. I asked the doctor if Germany doesn’t believe every patient presented shouldn’t be treated, regardless of race, nationality, insurance coverage, etc and he said yes. I told him my experience when I arrived and he shrugged it off. I do believe the nurse (from Serbia) and the German doctor gave me great care. For this, I am thankful. I had several encounters with the evil lady during my time there. At one point, I just started to cry saying please I’m alone, I’m scared so please be kind. She looked at me with zero emotion in her eyes and jerked her head around to another task. I told her I pray to God if she ever found herself in this situation in my country, she would be treated with compassion, dignity and respect…all things she was unable to do. It was a terrible experience that I will never forget! I thank God I made it out of there alive. Dr Sebastian (first name) and the male nurse from Serbia were wonderful. If you are given a choice, do NOT go to this hospital! I am so thankful I live in the USA where 99.9% of the medical staff will treat you with dignity and respect. Sadly, my days traveling solo are over. I plan to email the hospital administration about my experience. I’m sure they couldn’t care less, but it will make me feel better."
