"Choosing to undergo a total knee replacement is a massive decision, but the team at Healthpoint Hospital (managed by M42) provided a level of care that turned a daunting experience into a seamless journey toward recovery. ​The Surgical Team: ​I am forever grateful to Dr. John Conroy. His expert advice, technical skill, and steady guidance made all the difference in my decision-making process and the success of the surgery. ​The anesthesia team was equally world-class. Dr. Oliver, the anesthetic consultant, has a calm persona and incredible skill that immediately put me at ease, I truly didn’t feel a thing!!! Working hand-in-hand with him was Chris McKee, the Anesthetic Technician. Together, they managed my anxiety so effectively that I felt completely at peace heading into a major operation. ​Outstanding Nursing Care: ​The nursing staff at the Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Department were brilliant throughout my stay: ​Nurse Janice: Provided wonderful care and reassurance immediately prior to the surgery. ​Nurse Shamina: Was fantastic during those critical moments immediately following the operation. ​Nurse Shahad: A true professional who was incredibly supportive, ensuring everything was clear and making me feel comfortable during my recovery. ​I fully appreciate that this is a long journey to full recovery, but I have been put on the right path by these superb professionals. I will post more later about my progress through physiotherapy, but Drs. Nigel, Waleed, and Backer have started this long path so positively.
