"Stayed for 1 night. Every medicine is priced 10x what you have in the pharmacy. Nurses are rude and unhelpful. On one speaks English My bf Stayed with severe Dengue fever and they kept fighting him on pills which he needed to stop feeling pain. This diagnose is uncured by pills - but they couldn’t even “lower it down” with proper infusions Insisted they can help with pain - and didn’t. He was also starving, they promised to give him glucose and didn’t. Promised to bring anti-nausea pill, didn’t bring. Wanted to always move him to a different room, kept making noises - imposible place to be in. Everyone’s loud, rude and pretends like they don’t know what you’re saying with 0 effort. Constantly chatted and laughed at us among themselves after we talked to me in English. Declined to return the 17M deposit ~ 650 dollars at night because “accountant were asleep” Were generally rude. No help You can’t go out and"
"I had a full body check-up at this hospital and was very satisfied with the doctors’ professionalism. The overall experience was good, and everything was handled well. Special thanks to Quang đăng for the help and translation — it made the process much easier."
"Brilliant experience - had issues with my hearing after a hair wash/hair cut. Had to pay 600k vnd to see the ENT specialist. Got seen in 10 mins. She solved the problem and prescribed some medicines. Picked those up at the pharmacy downstairs for 300k vnd and was ready. Wow, much better than in our own country"
"My wife and I caught a Grab to this hospital on the day we arrived in Hanoi, as we wanted to get a full battery of health tests that would cost lots of money back in the USA. In the initial waiting room, we were guided towards a young man who spoke English as well as me. He sent me a pdf of the tests/checkups they offered, and the prices. We chose the most extensive checkup as I've been having abdominal pain on and off for a month, and we both just retired and want to make sure about our health. The young man said we'd be able to return either the next day or the day after to complete our tests. He messaged me on WhatsApp later that evening with screenshots of our individual entries into their system, and provided us with our codes to use on the day we returned to the hospital. I asked about what we could eat and drink before testing, and he gave us clear guidance. We showed up the next morning, and he was there again, and walked with us to most of the testing areas throughout the hospital. It took us all day, and at times seemed a bit chaotic due to the language barrier with some of the hospital staff (we don't speak any Vietnamese). But to the end, everything got sorted. It took about 8 hours, but we left with results and suggestions for our future health care. The hospital will maintain our records fur 10 years, and they gave us a paper copy of all results. The final doctor consultation also generated several prescriptions, which we filled back downstairs at the main reception area/pharmacy. Our total cost for the two of us, for all tests and prescription drugs, was just over 26M vnd, or $994 usd. There are several medical locations in SE Asia that will provide these kinds of services, but few will be around this price point. We plan to return to Hanoi next year to go through this process again, now that they have a baseline for us. Highly recommended."
"English speaker maintained continuous contact between staff and doctor. Health exam included chest X-ray, ultrasound is lung , spleen, kidney, abdomen. Complete blood profile. Approx two hours provided exam results. Approx 2 million dong, all inclusive. Efficient, friendly staff. Highly recommend. Pharmacy and emergency room on site."
"I highly recommend this hospital for foreigners like me. Ive got a lot of trouble regarding documents from the birth report of my baby and a huge shoutout to one translator named Nguyen Linh Giang. He did far more than I could ever expect. I love how this hospital is so accomodating."
