"While the care to my husband when we were at the hospital was adequate, I have been trying to obtain a medical report and formal invoices which were no provided, but promised to be sent, when we left. After three months and a number of communications, I have received no reply. My insurance will not cover the costs (which we already paid to the hospital) without the medical report or invoices. Very negative experience"

"It's a disaster. A huge hospital without any benefits for your health. If you come here. It's will be a bad experience in your life we can say the hospital ibno tofayl is better than this. Here just gave them money and go back your house as you come"

"“A broken leg and the best care in Marrakesh!” I came to HPM Hospital with a broken leg and will leave with a heart full of gratitude (and, of course, a well-treated leg!). From the moment I arrived, I have been surrounded by the kindest, funniest, and most caring nurses – truly the craziest and sweetest team in Marrakesh! Even though my French is… well, nonexistent, they have made sure I feel comfortable, understood, and even entertained. Everyone is really doing their best. A special thank you to the amazing surgeon, who is not only treating my leg perfectly but also making sure everything goes smoothly. The whole team is giving their best, and I couldn’t ask for better care. If you ever find yourself in need of medical help in Marrakesh, HPM is the place to go. Merci beaucoup, HPM – you are making a painful situation so much better!"

"If you wish to endanger the life of a family member and face financial ruin, then this hospital will unfortunately meet those expectations. 1. Emergency and ICU Services: Severe Professional Misconduct The Emergency and Reanimation (ICU) departments are, regrettably, in a state of serious dysfunction. While our relative was in evident pain and distress, staff members were laughing and joking inside the same ICU room. This behavior demonstrates a lack of professionalism and respect for patient dignity. ➡️ Violation of Article 75 of Law 131-13, which requires health professionals to • provide care with respect, dignity, and attention, • ensure patient safety, • and maintain professional conduct at all times. 2. Negligence and Absence of Monitoring We witnessed nurses being inattentive, forcing us—who are physicians ourselves—to alert the responsible doctor about critical anomalies. This constitutes a direct breach of the duty of care imposed by Law 131-13, which obliges medical institutions to ensure continuous, safe, and appropriate monitoring of patients. 3. Positive Note: Surgical Team The surgical team showed professionalism and support. Our single star is dedicated exclusively to them. 4. Administrative Mismanagement and Illegal Financial Practices When our father was cleared by the medical team to leave (disconnected, prepared, and medically stable), the administration blocked his discharge. Their justification: • the insurance could not validate the invoice on a Saturday, • documents were incomplete, • and the doctor responsible for the report was “not available.” This violates principles of transparency and good-faith service required by Law 31-08 on Consumer Protection, particularly regarding: • clear billing, • timely delivery of required documents, • and the prohibition of unjustified financial pressure. Extravagant and Improper Billing The administration pushes patients to pay upfront for medication, imaging (scanner, radiology), and laboratory tests (biology), even when these acts should already be partially covered by medical insurance. This common practice at the hospital contradicts: • Law 31-08, which forbids abusive commercial practices, • and Law 131-13, which mandates transparent billing and accurate medical documentation. Errors in the Invoice The approximative invoice included: • medications already purchased by the patient, • acts already paid during the first emergency night. This is a serious violation of consumer protection rules and raises concerns of double billing and fraudulent charging. . I would never recommend this hospital to another person."
