"This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with emergency management at this hospital. Today, I visited with my 6-month-old daughter due to her severe constipation. Although there was a doctor available and only a few patients, it took four hours for my infant daughter to be seen. The token system was not working, and the doctors were very slow in attending to patients. People who arrived after me were seen first, and we were kept waiting for no reason. I do not recommend this hospital, especially for emergencies."

"As a tourist I was treated like a queen at this hospital which our hotel (Cyan Hotel de Las Americas) recommended after I fell and cut my face which required stitches. Each staff member was so kind, helpful, professional and efficient- despite the fact that they spoke little to no English. Fortunately, the head Emergency room doctor, Dr. Araujo Gallegos, Diego Andres had been trained in my home country and he spoke English. He personally guided us through all the steps- from arriving at reception, X-rays and finally plastic surgery. I cannot thank him or the lovely ER receptionist, Analia Fernandez , as well as the very attentive and proficient plastics team. And after all was said and done, I've healed beautifully as if nothing had ever happened. On top of all this, the cost was very reasonable (which is not the case in many countries-especially as a foreigner. I was at their mercy and they could have charged me any amount and I would have paid) and it was fully covered by my insurance! Hopefully, you will never need a hospital in BA but if you do, this is the place to go!"

"I was visiting Buenos Airies and got sick. I found Hospital Aleman online. The service was superb. After I checked in and paid, the wait to see the doctor was literally two minutes. The doctor used the ultrasound himself. No shuttling to different departments. He did a complete checkup for what I needed, and wrote the prescription. The entire visit took an hour and cost $100 USD. American emergency rooms could learn a lot from this hospital!"

"If you are a tourist, do not come here. Hospital Alemán does NOT honor travel health insurance, no matter what they tell you beforehand. My husband had a fever for four days. We deliberately chose this hospital because it was IN-NETWORK on our $2 MILLION travel medical policy. We confirmed coverage with both the insurance company and the hospital before going. When we arrived, the woman at the front desk refused to even look up the policy. She would not read the insurance confirmation paperwork and flat-out refused care unless we paid $1,000 cash upfront. We had a translator on the phone directly from the insurance company, and instead of doing her job, she argued with them, repeatedly saying “we cannot accept this,” while refusing to review anything. We tried again later, hoping to get someone else. Unfortunately, it was the same woman, and this time she would not even speak to the translator at all. This was not confusion — it was pure refusal and blatant disregard. We were treated as if being tourists automatically disqualified us from care. The attitude was hostile, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Being sick in a foreign country is already stressful. Being denied medical care despite valid insurance is unacceptable. If you are traveling and relying on travel insurance, assume you will be turned away unless you hand over cash. Absolutely shameful experience."

"Efficient and Compassionate Emergency Care in Buenos Aires. While visiting Buenos Aires in November 2025, I experienced a sudden medical issue that required urgent attention. I chose Hospital Alemán and was very impressed by the professionalism, responsiveness, and overall quality of care I received. From the moment I arrived, the staff acted quickly and treated me with courtesy and respect. The admissions process was clear and efficient. Although upfront payment was required, it was handled smoothly, and I appreciated how the hospital prioritized care without unnecessary delays. The medical team was attentive and well coordinated. I was evaluated promptly, and the necessary steps were taken without hesitation. Throughout my stay, I was kept informed and felt well supported by everyone involved. The facility was clean, modern, and well organized, and the staff communicated clearly and professionally at every stage. The entire visit, from admission to discharge, lasted less than seven hours. Thanks to the hospital’s efficiency, I was able to return to my hotel in time for a dinner reservation and a tango show that same evening. I also received complete documentation for insurance purposes, which made follow-up much easier once I returned home. Hospital Alemán provided excellent care during a stressful moment. I am grateful for their expertise and would confidently recommend this facility to any traveler in need of emergency medical services in Buenos Aires."
