"Generally I have good experiences at CUF Tejo. Sometimes the system for signing in to appointments and being called for appointments is a bit chaotic and unpredictable. The MyCUF app is also quite poor, even after the recent update."

"Sitting waiting for the time for my surgery. I came in the night before, super idea BTW. My surgery is at 16h00. I was supposed to have an early breakfast. That breakfast NEVER ARRIVED!!! Nothing allowed after 08h00, not even water! Not giving the patient their early breakfast is NOT a good idea!"

"Unfortunately, despite CUF Tejo being a nice facility, and despite the fact that there are some good doctors there, I feel compelled to write this review about one Dermatology doctora in particular, Doctora Marilia Fonseca. This was the worst medical experience of my life and I am 58 years old. I went in the first time for an all-over body rash I’d had for 4 months. She was totally dismissive, condescending, rude, talked down to me as if I was bothering her, barely glanced at my skin, did not use a Dermascope, did no skin scrapings, and she offered zero treatment plan at all. No cream, no lotion, no advice whatsoever. I asked her to please take a biopsy so she sent me to her nurse’s procedure room, where the nurse was kind and way more patient than her. He prepared a site for biopsy and she came back in to take the punch biopsy. She told me to come back in 3 weeks once the biopsy results were in. Again, she offered me zero advice about how to control the itching, which was keeping me awake at night for months, or the rash. I paid for that appointment. Went back in 3 weeks for my follow-up, was told I had eczema. Once again, only this time worse, she was super rude, condescending, dismissive, and disrespectful and again offered me zero treatment plan. She kicked me out of her office after 5 minutes and told me she had another patient to attend to. I went to the restroom on my way down the hallway and when I came out, she was exiting the hallway with her purse and jacket. She did Not have another patient. So here I am 6 months into my rash and it still persists and I’m left to trial and error treatment plan that I figure out myself. I should mention that she has many bad reviews on two different platforms. I am definitely NOT the first patient to have the exact same experience, and I will not be the last. If you need a good dermatologist that’s willing to do their due diligence and try to help you, this is not the doctora for you! And, to CUF Tejo, no, I’m sorry, I won’t be paying this bill. I spoke to a woman in their client relations department and even filed a complaint, and they’re still holding me accountable for €125 for the follow-up, which I will NOT be paying. The end."

"I have been here more than 10 times, and the staff who work at the ticket counter are really bad. I don’t have words to describe how bad it is. They don’t want to speak English, and they usually ignore you. I think they don’t understand that patients like me and others are the reason they get their salary. By the way, the reason I have to interact with this staff is that my 10 appointments were late by 1 hour 20 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes."

"We are Tourists and my friend had strong bleeding for several days & today very massive pain and weak circulation. We looked for help in this hospital but the Reception was not helpful at all. They hardly wanted to talk to me (maybe bc of the english), they told me they have no gynecology and we need to go somewhere else. I totally understand that they cant help if they dont have that Departement but they could have helped at least. I asked if they could call an ambulace because my friend was lying down, not able to walk, but they declined. I asked if they can call any transporation or taxi for us bc we dont speak portuguese - but they dindnt want to. They gave me a card of a medial transport, but when I called there it was just a repeating answering machine in portuguese and no chance to talk to anyone. I tried a few taxi numbers until one stranger on the street was so kind to tell me there is a taxi stand just up the street and I was able to get a taxi from there. The hospital staff was very dismissive and did not want to help at all."
