"We discovered this hospital through a health platform and decided to visit in person. The staff was professional, and the process felt well-organized from start to finish. The overall experience matched what we expected before coming. StrongBody AI helps connect users with trusted hospitals like this."

"I was very disappointed. I came to the pediatric emergency at 2am. During the triage the nurses didn't even check the temperature of my child who was 40 c° or her pulse. She was awake but I told them that its been 3 days with 40 and medication didn't work though. I told her I saw a doctor who gave me a prescription. They said its not possible that the doctor gave me that.. I come from Switzerland where the health care are high tech and efficient. I even came in another hospital here in almada and the nurse took her temperature and pulse during triage. That's a basis. The worse is that my child was considered not as emergency. I get that. But she has a green bracelet meaning the she was the less urgent. Same as another small kid. My child is 4yo. I would never come to this hospital again. This is incomplete incompetence and careless I never see."

"I have been to emergencias waiting for 5 hours, then sent back home without Any doctor seeing me. They told go tomorrow to centro de saude sete rios. I did. After They sent me right back here, with an envelope saying urgent, as there cannot diagnostics like a simple Blood test un centro do saude. They told not to worry, with this envelope you will not wait a lot. Today is the second day I have been waiting here 5 hours again, no examination, no bloodtest and zero Humanity. Staff here are arrogant and everyone says they cannot help. I asked to talk to the manager they said call"

"Hospital de Santa Maria is one of the largest hospitals in Lisbon, offering a wide range of medical services. The doctors and medical staff are knowledgeable and professional, but the waiting times can be extremely long, especially in the emergency department. For children, the pediatric department has some excellent doctors, but like the rest of the hospital, it suffers from long wait times. The facilities for young patients could be more child-friendly, with better entertainment options to keep them comfortable during long waits. The hospital is crucial for healthcare in Lisbon, but improvements in efficiency and infrastructure would make a big difference, especially for families with young children."

"I came to Hospital Santa Maria emergency with an MRI from Hospital da Luz confirming complete ACL tear and MCL ligament tear which needed a urgent surgery. I have been suffering chronic pain 24 hours a day with burns and tingling around left knee. I was given a blue bracelet and waited over 14 hours from 2PM until 1am without being seen by any doctor. I am a legal resident of Portugal with a valid TRC and NIF, working as a cleaner and unable to work due to this serious knee injury. I came only asking for a sick leave certificate, orthopedic referral and pain medication. After 14 hours I left without any treatment, any documentation or any help. No staff checked on me during the entire wait. This is inhumane treatment of a patient with documented serious injury. Worst experience."
