"Gosh where to start from the moment i arrived to San Diego Jack picked me up from the airport he noticed that I was nervous so he provided me the sense of security. After i arrived at the hospital i had that “part of the family” feeling. The nurses were great, the doctors were great. Very clean and confortable hospital bed. Highly highly recommend Dr. Cano, he was very informative about the post op steps to take."

"Wasn't the cleanest but it wasn't horrible. None of my nurses spoke any English but were nice except one just ignored me while I cried all night for a ice pack because the gas was in my shoulder. Same thing happened after surgery. There was some holes in my care for sure but its not the worst experience either."

"I wouldn’t even give this hospital a one star if I had an option. This is my mom’s second time here and I can honestly say as a companion this was the worst trip ever. The only good part was the tour where they take us to go shopping and get really good tacos. They charged her an extra $414 dollars for her bmi being over a certain index when we arrived but when she called and verified a week before coming and also text they said that the $7,000 total was including the companion and the bmi being over the certain operating index. Their customer service SUCKS and they definitely don’t HAVE GOOD communication skills. They made me feel like all they want is your money. I communicated to Karla my problems and she never responded until my mom told her she wanted to leave and check out then the van driver gave me a ride back when that’s what he should HAVE done in the first place considering they told me they were taking me back to the hotel at a certain time and he was just sitting in the van waiting for the next group: They do not begin on time either. The price for the surgery is great vs the U.S. but the service at the hospital is ridiculous. The bathroom was dirty when we first got there , no tissue or paper towel in there and we had to ask for it to be cleaned and for towels and every time we asked it seemed like they had an attitude. There nurses didn’t know how to fix the air or the tv , barely spoke English considering mostly Americans come there to get surgery they don’t understand. How about hire people who knows English! My mom had to constantly ask for things for her roommate and herself because the roommates call light wasn’t working. The stuck my mom 5 times in both arms for her iv and when the iv stopped working the first time they tried to save it multiple times instead of just giving her a new freaking iv. The nurses were very lazy and wanted to sit at the desk on their phones most of the time. Oh and also at the end of your stay , right BEFORE letting you go home they charge you extra for pills , blood thinners which my mom doesn’t take the ones they give because SHE HAS HER OWN AND BROUGHT THEM with her and charged her $188 for freaking pills she DID NOT TAKE and diet plans etc. A FREAKING RIP OFF. HOW ABOUT TELLING PEOPLE THAT THEY’RE WILL BE ADDITIONAL CHARGES WHEN YOU MAKE IT BEFORE BOOKING THE SURGERY because that is not ok. What if you don’t have the extra money you know ? This hospital sucks with hospitality , communication , customer service! I pray that everyone else’s experience is better than mines when they go because I DEFINITELY won’t be back here!"
