"I went to the Dr. Ramón Carrillo Dental Clinic, and as always, it was impeccable. The service was excellent from reception through the emergency room and then to the evaluation area for subsequent treatment. I deducted one star because the accessible restroom in the emergency wing was leaking from the toilet tank and there was no toilet paper or hand towels. It's a shame that with so many cleaning and maintenance staff, they don't take care of the restrooms."

"I went for a COVID test, and because Spanish isn’t my first language, I didn’t know what the lady meant when she asked me, “¿Acá para hisopear?” so her colleague scoffed and laughed at me, in front of other patients. Feeling humiliated, I said that I can speak Spanish, I just didn’t understand the word “hisopear.” Then, when I told the lady my name, she laughed at my name and said, “qué cosa.” I’ve been studying here for three months and these women were the most disrespectful people I’ve met"

"I work in nursing, in the USA, and this place was very dirty and overcrowded. The emergency area. I came in because i was having new onset tachycardia. I wanted to get a EKG and some labs (BNP, CBC) to make sure I was ok. There was no triage just a person writing names in a book. If someone is complaining of heart issues you need to takes vitals at least. I waited 3 hours and nothing. I went back to the triage area and there was someone in scrubs standing there. They actually tested my heart rate and said that 130s was nothing to be worried about. That's high for resting rate. I waited another 30 minutes and the Dr called me back into a room. There were 2 beds. I Explained my situation and they told me I should go to the private hospital. I said you should at least take my vitals and do an ekg. The EKG machine was very old. They gave me the rythem strip ,which I can interpret, and told me if I still feel bad I should go to private hospital. Go to the swiss hospital instead, if you want to survive."
