"Completely disappointed by the poor service at reception and especially by Dr. Marianela Campos. From the moment I called and arrived at the hospital, I only encountered an arrogant attitude, as if I were doing them a favor by paying 65,000 colones. Part of good service is offering a humble and positive attitude to the patient. This doctor has an unfriendly demeanor and lacks humility. Never again; I do not recommend her. Please, we need more professional staff."

"The wait time is excessive and completely unacceptable, especially considering that there is only one doctor attending to all patients, regardless of whether they are adults, children, or accident victims. This creates obvious overcrowding and jeopardizes timely care for those who truly need urgent assistance. Furthermore, the receptionists' customer service leaves much to be desired. Their approach was unsympathetic, disorganized, and their attitude did not reflect the level of professionalism expected in a medical center. I understand that there may be days with high demand, but an emergency service must be prepared to provide adequate care with sufficient staff. The experience was frustrating and worrying, especially given the nature of the health issues. I hope this situation is taken into account and that improvements are made to both wait times and the quality of customer service."

In about 10 days, there will be space again, but this time at the Universal. Unacceptable, a total lack of respect, and a mockery. It's outrageous... PS: The young woman who helped me on Sunday (Daniela Quesada) was very professional."

"I moved to Costa Rica because it has some of the best medical care in the world (unlike my own country). I had blood tests and an X-ray done the other and was astonished how quickly I got the results. Thank you Kendy, Eduardo, Dr. Obando and all other technicians who have been simply excellent. We are still early in the diagnosis process but I feel like the staff actually cares about the outcome and this gives me a huge sense of comfort for the future. Thank you so much. I cannot describe my gratitude."

"My wife was admitted due to kidney stones. She was attended and diagnosed quickly, Pain medications were given without delay and she was made comfortable. It was determined that surgery could not be avoided. The doctors, nurses and staff were very attentive and caring. Her procedure and care were excellent. Thank you to the reception desk who is always helpful, polite and respectful. We are fortunate to have this hospital in Cartago!"
