"A deeply disappointing experience after a positive past treatment Nine years ago, after two treatments at Institut Marquès, I achieved a positive result and a twin pregnancy. At that time, the clinic felt much more humane, attentive, and truly focused on the patients — not just on money. Recently, after starting a new chapter in my life with a partner who dreams of becoming a father, I returned to the clinic with hope. Unfortunately, my experience this time was completely different. My first doctor was extremely unprofessional: cold, arrogant, and insensitive. She delivered devastating information with zero empathy, as if she were selling a product rather than speaking to someone seeking help to become a mother. I immediately refused to continue with her. I then asked to be followed by the doctor who treated me years ago. She was kind and professional, but the overall experience was still very disappointing. Communication was poor; many times I tried to reach her without success. We attempted three cycles with my own eggs and then moved to egg donation — something that was never in our plans. Despite good ovarian response and supposedly excellent donor eggs, we never received a successful result. Across the treatments, the embryos repeatedly failed by day five, something that had never happened to me before. This happened more than once, raising serious concerns about the laboratory work. After spending €26,000 only in treatments (not counting travel, hotel, flights), we were left without answers and without support. After the last negative result, nobody from the clinic contacted me — not even a simple call to express empathy or to discuss what could have gone wrong. No explanation, no follow-up, nothing. The lack of humanity and communication has been shocking. A clinic dealing with such sensitive situations should show empathy, clarity, and real interest in their patients. Unfortunately, that was not my experience this time. I left feeling ignored, disappointed, and deeply hurt.😞 Molto triste"
