"My husband had his l4 -l5 disc replaced and l5 -s1 disc fused from dr clavel in this hospital in July of last year he was under the illusion from the doctor everything would be perfect and eventually he would be back his normal self but 6 months on and he doesn't know what to do he the minute he had the operation its zero contact they are the worst aftercare I have ever seen impossible to contact no advice completely crazy I dont know how this clinic is aloud to operate. my husband is constantly doing physio and trying to learn aftercare himself his mobility is half of what it was before the operation and its looking like it will never be back and he still suffers the same pains as before the operation it done nothing my husband is only 34 they never called or emailed to see how he is and when had difficulty after the operation they were not contactable I just hope that anyone reading this takes our advice and do not go near these people they can ruin your life"

"I don't know where to begin. I'll keep this short and to the point. This institution may be good for your spine surgery if the surgery goes well. They are friendly and prompt in their response... prior to surgery. However, if you have issues with your surgery and you try to contact them afterwards, they will take forever, not even respond at all, or ask you to pay additional fees for consultation. As a patient that's in pain that can't move well, not to mention also broke from all the money that you handed over them, you will end up feeling hopeless and helpless. I had my surgery little over two years ago, and after repeated attempts in reaching out to them to tell them of new symptoms, not long (i.e. few months) after surgery, I am now ending up having to do a revision surgery with another doctor at the two levels that they operated on. They even sold me on the post-op insurance for the total package. I leave this review not with the goal of damaging their business, but I feel that it is my moral responsibility to the people that is going through similar suffering I have gone through of spine issues. "2.5 years after M6-L replacements on L4-L5 & L5-S1. No issues at all. I went from crying myself to sleep in pain to walking 3 miles in 1 week. (They warn you not to walk that much so soon, but I hadn't felt that good in years.) I honestly don't even think about my back anymore. I haven't even needed ibuprofen once. The experience was easy. Lots of waiting on the day of the surgery. Make sure you have a big data plan on your SIM card because the hospital wifi never worked. Also if you forgot a phone charger, there is a USB port behind the TV (it was a game saver for me). They followed up a few months later to review x-rays I had taken. All was perfect. Added perk, as a typical fat American, the hospital food was much healthier (but not always appealing) then I was accustom. I lost 5lbs my week there. Finally, Barcelona is a GREAT city to spend week 2 recovering before flying home."
