"I have known Dr. Fernando Urdiales and been a patient of his for over 28 years. I trust him 100 per cent and would not hear a word said against him or anyone in his clinics. I have recommended him to all my friends over the years and they have always been extremely happy with their treatments. I feel extremely lucky that I met Dr. Urdiales all those years ago and will continue to attend his clinic for all the latest procedures available.Jan knight"

"I have been a client for seven years, for Botox and Ultherapy, with Doctora Maíz. The last time that I had botox there, with my usual doctor, it worked hardly at all, and despite two touch ups. When I called about another treatment, I mentioned this, and the doctor was not surprised. She said some people develop a tolerance for their product. She offered no alternative nor remedy, and instead suggested that I come in again in four months and they would use something different. I said that I expected not to have to pay again, since this time did not work....clearly clients should only pay for treatments that work. And of course, if it was clear to her that this must be the problem, without any investigation or even seeing how badly it had failed, there should be a refund, a minimum of 50% discount on the next treatment, or the next treatment should really be the doctor trying again to deliver the already paid for service. I explained my expectations to her, and to my surprise she said, "No, you have to pay again." I do not know of any other business, and this is the first in over ten years of going to aesthetic centres in four countries, that expects to be paid full price for a failed service, and even asks that clients come back and pay full price again for a maybe it will work, maybe it won't work, attempt to deliver what they have already paid for. If Instituto Medico Miramar truly believes that clients should reasonably be prepared for a Botox treatment to not work at all, the honest thing to do is present them with a form to sign before they pay that states not only the medical risks of the procedure but the risk that it will not work, and that the clinic leaves all financial responsibility with the client."
