"The whole experience for me, being on both sides, as a master student and as a patient was incredible. After the arthrocentesis, performed by Prof. Dr. David Angelo, on 15th April 2026, on my right TMJ, I had no pain, just a bit my right eye shared tears for some time and I felt little swollen, but it was normal. I told Dr David Angelo when I as still on the surgery table that now I really understand why a patient needs to keep the spatulas into the mouth the whole procedure. I felt how my muscles, masseters, pushed against the doctor 's lavaj to close the mouth while I was struggling to keep it open The whole IPF team is unbelievable and wonderful, as I rarely see. So amazing people, everyone of them. I was impressed by their kindness, warm hearts carring every time about us: if we are ok, if we understand the physiotherapy and the procedures. Dr David Angelo asked us what was the thing that really impressed us the most. I told him that I was impressed by the leadership of his team, by the way they all together work and communicate as a team. Dr Angelo has a huge heart, is a great leader, he cares about people and he told us that everything he and his team do is for the patients. I discovered in Dr Francesco Maffia such a passionate person about what he is doing, caring for patients and always there to help us, to explain cases and answer our questions. Marcella, our hugging teacher, is an amazing person, a powerful woman with great abilities to organize everything and treat patients with love and passion.
