"I would not expect any meaningful follow-up from this practice. We tried to assist one of our employees who remained very ill after three days, having only been prescribed OTC medication — something that, in our view, did not warrant a consultation in the first place. We contacted the practice twice over two days. On both occasions, the receptionist confirmed that a request for scheduled medication had been “logged”. No one got back to us. In the end, we had to take our employee to another practice to ensure she received appropriate care. Very disappointing lack of responsiveness when it was genuinely needed."

"I had the most wonderful doctor at intercare. She actually took time to listen to me and value what I was saying. She offered concrete solutions, that were best and safest for my health. She was quick and efficient. I had the best experience with her! Thank you for your incredible doctors."

"I usually visit my family doctor, but unfortunately he does not work on weekends. I recently developed a severe cough that has left me feeling extremely weak and short of breath, so I sought medical attention here. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The consultation felt rushed and superficial. Despite my symptoms, the doctor did not listen to my chest or lungs and performed only a very basic examination. During my appointment, the doctor was replying to emails, printing sick notes for other patients, and even took a phone call regarding another patient's test results while I was sitting directly in front of him. The conversation included sensitive medical information and personal contact details, which I found highly unprofessional and concerning from a privacy perspective. After paying more than R900 for the consultation, I was prescribed an over-the-counter cough syrup and left without any real answers or reassurance regarding my condition. I will now need to visit my regular doctor during the week for a proper assessment. Overall, this was an expensive and frustrating experience that did not meet the standard of care I expected."

"Always a good experience with Intercare. Staff are friendly and efficient. The online booking system is convenient. There is also a dischem pharmacy on site which makes it easier to grab your meds after your visit. There is coffee and water available while you wait so overall a good experience 😀"

"My husband was very ill and had booked an appointment with one of the doctors. Just 30 minutes before the appointment, we were informed that the doctor would not be available and were sent to see another doctor instead. Unfortunately, that doctor simply prescribed medication that did not resolve the issue. We later had to book another appointment with a different doctor (outside of Intercare), who immediately discovered that my husband’s blood pressure was dangerously high and expressed serious concern. The Intercare doctor never even checked his blood pressure. Extremely disappointing experience — I cannot recommend them at all"
