I was picked up upon arrival, and all my accommodation preferences were taken into consideration. "They overcharged me. My first quote in the US was $11,800 USD, all-inclusive except for the flight. When I arrived at the clinic, the treatment plan suddenly changed, and I ended up paying $17,147 USD for the zygomatic implants alone—not even including the final prosthetic. What upset me even more is that they used a basic implant system, not the premium one that was initially discussed. I felt pressured to proceed with the surgery, and because I was traveling alone with no one to rely on, I went through with it. Looking back, I realize I should have left the clinic, taken time to think about it overnight, and possibly looked for another clinic instead. Three weeks after the surgery, I tried communicating with them, but it seems like they don’t care much anymore—probably because they already got my money. Because of this experience, I’m now considering not finishing the prosthetic (final crown/teeth) with them and instead finding another clinic. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened to me, and I guess I still haven’t learned my lesson. So please be careful when dealing with clinics like this. I had a translator, but it didn’t help much. Some of the doctors don’t speak English well, which isn’t really the main issue. The real problem is the constant changes in the treatment plan and pricing. Before going to Turkey, I even told the dental consultant that I had already done a bone graft in the US four months earlier, but he insisted that I shouldn’t do it. Looking back now, it feels like their plan was always to push me toward zygomatic implants, which cost more—so I ended up paying significantly more and still received a very basic implant system."
