"I had surgery at JW Clinic about 2 weeks ago and so far I’m really happy with the results—no visible scarring yet and recovery is going smoothly. Dr. Suh (tiplasty) and Dr. Kim (eyelid/epicanthoplasty/blepharoplasty) were attentive and professional, and their recommendations felt tailored to me rather than pushy. The clinic was very clean and modern. They provided red light therapy, cold compress packs, and even a complimentary hair shampoo service after surgery. The staff, especially my translator Jenny, were amazing—supportive, kind, and always made sure I understood everything. Nurses were gentle and explained each step, which helped me feel comfortable. JW also arranged airport pickup/drop-off and has a hotel partnership with L7 Gangnam, which made the whole experience more convenient. A few areas for improvement: post-op instructions weren’t always consistent, my antibiotic eyedrops ran out before the prescribed 2 weeks and I was told to just stop, and one stitch under my eyelid was missed during stitch removal (though they later offered to reimburse me for the removal in the U.S.). The final cost was also higher than my initial quote, which I wish had been more accurate given the clear photos I sent. Overall, I’d still recommend JW Clinic for their skilled doctors, modern facilities, and caring staff—just make sure to double-check your post-op instructions, stitches, and medication supply before leaving."
