"DO NOT GO UNLESS YOU ARE DYING OR HALF DEAD! I was reading the reviews but was the only place open at 4 am. I am having a very painful urinary infection and went the after feeling super sick for almost 24 hrs. I went there and in the registrarion told me: “urinary problems are not emergency, go to haus doctor” and turned her back. Then I asked where? And she handed jn a piecr of paper from 2016 with some doctors that were not open at that hour and said “bye” pointing the door. She didnt ask if I had fever, if I had other symptoms. And then I had to walk to the exit for over 20 min because all the exits were closed. Whoever had a urinary infection knows how painful is every step. I seriously dont understand health system in Munich/Germany, I just moved here 2 weeks ago, but I find it really heartless."
"I had a life-threatening anaemia and was sent to this hospital by my child-specialist. We were told to plan a stay there for a longer time say a month. The treatment I got in this speciality hospital was from the beginning unacceptable. I can say it is a badly managed hospital, that needs regular supervision. Let me explain it. We visited here twice. In the first visit in year 2022, we reached at 11:20 Uhr. At 15:00 Uhr I got finally admitted. I was discharged in just 4-days, and during that stay, I was getting only Iron capsules that I was already taking at home. We got a blood report and sent back to home. My child-specialist couldn’t believe, how come they can send someone in 3 days who was referred as an emergency case? Haemoglobin was 5.8, Ferritin was 6. In that first visit, the doctor who had attended me before getting admitted, wanted us to return. But the nurse was at least intelligent to tell him to at least take the blood sample, with that they could compare it in the next visit. So, the doctor doesn’t even know that a bloodwork is needed. The reception area was fully staffed but they had hardly any care who is coming and needs help. They were rude, unhelpful. No one gave proper instructions and we were left to figure things out on our own. We visited skin specialist and she wrote instruction for blood transfusion seeing the emergency situation, but in the second visit they didn’t do that. All is good and again in 2 days sent back to home. We finally went to a very good doctor in Gräfling, and he was laughing at the prescribed treatment by this hospital. For the second visit we had an appointment. Around 9:00 we reached in time. Useless to have appointment, we waited for seven hours before getting admitted. Meanwhile the nurses were sitting in the staff room, glued to their phones. No one was bothering to clean the room before I could get into. It took 3 hours to get a Putzfrau. When it was finally time to take blood, the nurse took EIGHT tries and still couldn’t manage to get a sample. Whole area was punctured, dark blood spilling inside skin in elbow area. This can cause thrombosis. This means that nurse had no idea how deep the veins are and she passed it through to the other side. The pulse meter was painful to wear, it was compressing the nail area, and when I tried to adjust, to ease the pain, the nurse would shout. The food? Cold, disgusting and they were leftovers from other patients. Now even more disgusting was the case-taking by a “therapist”, she made a stupid statement (mocked!) about parents from Non-German family which was “Ich finde es witzig wie arabische und indische Eltern tausende Taschen von Essen mitbringen, während deutsche Eltern nur eine Box von Pizza bringen”. I replied with “Naja, das ist, weil sich indische und arabische Eltern mehr um ihre Kinder kümmern als Deutsche”. So, my experience made me decide, never to visit this hospital again. You will be treated like a burden and left to rot in a place. They don’t care."
"I flew from Portland, Oregon to undergo gallbladder removal, with all correspondence and scheduling of the endoscopic procedure conducted via email. The cost of the procedure was remarkably low, about a tenth of what I would have paid at OHSU. After a pre-exam and pre-payment on Monday, I checked in on Wednesday for surgery, spending two days in the hospital before being discharged on Friday. The "Interdisziplinare Station 4g" in house 4 of the clinic complex provided excellent care. Though the hospital building was quite old and lacked toilets and showers in the rooms, the medical staff was exceptionally kind and authentic, ensuring that my entire experience was very smooth. Being fluent in German made everything very easy for me."
"I have given birth in this hospital a few days ago. Everything was professionally done. The staff were very helpful, the hebamme who helped me deliver the baby, Ms. Karina, was very nice and very professional, all thanks to her. Also, the hebammes that help postpartum are all professional and extremely helpful and make you feel very comfortable. I felt like any question I had or any concern of mine, they helped me solve it immediately. I took the familyzimmer and they would bring breakfast, lunch, and dinner for me AND my husband. Would highly recommend this hospital to all the pregnant ladies/women."
"The doctor at Bereitschaftpraxis did not listen to me at all and prescribed the wrong medication. I’m surprised by how incompetent and unsympathetic a doctor in Germany can be. Really an eye-opening experience."
