"We called to set an appointment to see an OB-Gyn. The customer service representative for English speaker was quick to answer the call. However, we got uncomfortable as she asked an impossible requirement we need to bring. She wanted the referral which should be gotten a within a week of your appoinment. I have a uterus anomaly and it’s not a disease. It was abnormality that needs to be corrected, and I had all the documents from my previous hospital ( in Daegu),medical records, certificate, and referral that was only two weeks old when we called for the appointment. It’s so disappointing that she is very confident to say that all hospital in Korea ONLY accept a referral that is given WITHIN A WEEK but we called the SNU Hospital on the same day and they accepted our referral. When I called her back and told her that SNU isn’t part of the system she thought of, she said then that we can come to the hospital and meet the OB Gyn doctor. Then she advised us to still meet first a general doctor to get again a referral before meeting the OB gyn doctor even though again I have already referral which she finally considered. We thought that she is very inconsistent, and don’t know exactly her hospital’s rule. Moreover, her english is fine but her accent is terrible that made me and my husband find her words difficult to understand. She speaks terrible slang making like American slang but it’s not and it was annoying. We tried to be nice and understand what she’s saying even though she was trying hard not only her accent but also her explanation which was not really clear to grasp. We understand that English is not a language in Korea, but we had several calls with hospital representatives in KR and we could somehow get their statement since making things simple is better. We are disappointed at the end that this phone representative talks like she knows everything and made a decision for us which was really confusing. At the end, we didn’t take a risk nor getting a hard time visiting Konkuk medical center. Through her and her thought about the system of their hospital made us very disappointed at Konkuk University Medical Center and living in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. I hope that hospital management sees this and make an action. Probably re-train your staff and review your system. This review is not to humiliate someone but to give an honest feedback with hope that the service may be improved or changed."

"Traveling from the US had to go to the ER for a severe ear infection. We were in and out in less than an hour. Super organized, clean, friendly staff (most spoke English or had a translator for us) and handled the issue. Pharmacy was at facility too. They even scheduled a follow up appointment in a few days. Completely satisfied and thankful that this was a stress free visit."

"⭐ 1-Star Review I am a traveler from Malaysia and was admitted to the Emergency Unit at this hospital during my trip to Korea due to severe abdominal pain. I was treated with an X-ray, CT scan, and blood/urine tests to identify my condition. Upon discharge, I was only given the CT scan images in a CD and the medical receipt — no medical report or supporting documents were provided, which are essential for insurance claims. After returning to Malaysia, I emailed the hospital to request the medical report and provided all necessary details. Unfortunately, the reply I received was simply, “Sorry, I am unable to assist,” with no effort made to understand my request or guide me on the correct process. This felt very unprofessional and dismissive, especially considering how important these documents are for my travel insurance claim. Because of the lack of support and proper documentation, I am currently unable to claim my medical expenses. Disappointed."

"High professional and very careful stuff. We were for gastroenterology surgery which was very successful. And what a surprise when you can enjoy classic music on piano at level B1. Great location and very important thing that they are assisting you to get gorgeous rooms right other side of road in 4* hotel. Highly recommended for treatment, surgery and diagnosis."

"I came urgently because of a leg injury, they told me to wait 1-2 hours because of more severe patients, when I got to the consultation, I asked for an X-ray, they didn't give me a conclusion, they said X-ray could not see this part of the foot and offered a CT scan. I refused and in the end I was billed for $500 for a useless X-ray and "emergency care", while they charged a decent amount for a change in pressure, which I didn't even ask for As a result, they didn't help at all, no results of the examination and they wrote off such a large amount for lack of help"
