"Following a diagnosis of cataracts in both eyes, I decided to approach RCP for lens replacement surgery and I'm so glad I did! From my initial contact, a wonderful lady called Barbora answered all my queries promptly and professionally, resulting in my decision to continue with their services. Prior to my arrival in Prague, Barbora provided me with a detailed itinerary allowing me to arrange flights and accommodation to suit the planned procedures. I met with Dr Novak a day before my first eye surgery where he and his team conducted a very thorough eye examination, along with a detailed consultation where the whole process was carefully explained to me. As a type 1 diabetic with background retinopathy, Dr Novak's lens selection for me was based on the ability of being able to carry out laser surgery through the replacement lens to treat any potential diabetic related issues later on in life, should it ever be necessary, as not all lens allow this. The actual procedures (first eye on the Wednesday and the second eye on the Friday) were completely painless and conducted in a modern, sterile environment. Each eye took approximately 15 minutes to complete and Dr Novak spoke throughout the procedures explaining what he was doing, without going into too much detail! Something I found quite reassuring. I returned to the UK the day after my last surgery with no problems and the following Wednesday, I had an eye test that confirmed I no longer required glasses to drive. I'm now three weeks post surgery and my vision is improving daily. I can read, drive and work without glasses, and the bonus, colour! I can see bright vibrant colour again! Something I didn't realise I'd lost due to the cataracts. I'd like to thank Dr Novak, Barbora and the RCP team again for their expertise and professionalism throughout, making the whole process simple and efficient. Overall, I'd highly recommend Refractive Center Prague services."

"I had IOL replacement surgery (J&J Odyssey) in December and five weeks later I have clear and stable vision both close, medium and long distance. The team at the Refractive Centre Prague could not have been more supportive. Dr Novak did the surgery and he was careful to ensure the procedure and the lens were suitable to my life style. Immediately following the surgery I had excellent near vision. Distance vision became clear and near Hi Def over the following weeks. "When I first approached by emailing the Refractive Centre in Prague, the lady was very  informative and knowledgeable and very patient with me. It took me a time to decide to travel from England to Prague for the operation.  All the time Barbora was very understanding and reassuring and absolutely not influencing. When I decided the Reflective Centre was the best for me and finally arrived at the door and inside, I felt safe and comfortable as soon as I entered the medical office. All my anxiety dissolved  as all the staff were attending and pleasant.
