"Couple weeks ago, my husband and I rushed from Langebaan with my baby that just choked. We stormed into the Emergency room and were pleasantly surprised. My husband was taken to fill out forms while someone led me with my baby to the area where my baby was looked at immediately. We were admitted for tests about 15 minutes later. Firstly: The staff at the emergency room were so friendly and helpful. Thank you for taking care of us with so much urgency! Secondly: The paediatric ward was lovely - I had so much privacy with my baby and the entire stay over the weekend was positive. Doctor Atkins is such a superstar my baby loved him! The nurses were incredible as well. Nurse Maas helped me whenever my baby got fussy and showed me a couple of things that helped me soothe the little one. Whenever I needed to go to the bathroom, she took my baby for a moment so that I could take a breather. Honestly, I was expecting a negative experience due to the reviews I’ve seen about this hospital, but I have no negative feedback whatsoever."

"I was admitted after a fall. Received the invoice with about R4000 outstanding after medical aid payment. I paid it it Nov 2025. Afterwards Lizette from the hospital told me it was a billing error and they will reimburse me. Since then absolute silence. No email response."

"In am a medical doctor (also working in a Life hospital) and suferred a ruptured appendix which caused an abdominal abscess. I was admitted and examined by specialist physician Dr Charles Marais and had an emergency laparotomy by surgeon Dr Gerrie Steenkamp with anaesthetist Dr Ryk Lochner. I spent 4 days in ICU and tgen general ward I can only give the highest praise to all the doctors as well as the nursing and catering staff as well as the physiotherapists. The hospital may look run down, but the the medical care, the most important reason why I was in hospital, was excellent Well done to the whole team"

"I must say that I had a quit pleasant experience at the hospital when I was admitted on Sunday morning, 10 May 2026.The doctor and mail nurse who helped me, was friendly and very caring. I was sent for X-rays after they made me comfortable and gave me some pain medication. I was discharged after I was examined properly one more time and then the very friendly admin personal complete my paperwork in order to be discharged."

"There was one big sized nurse with spectacles, who only spoke to us in Afrikaans, even though she saw we are Indians and did not bother to check if we understood her. Not sure of her name but she was rude and arrogant. No smile no politeness, no manners. But there was a nurse with a Bob haircut, very pleasant, polite, and friendly. She was polite and courteous at all times. The doctors are good, friendly and polite."
