Yesterday, I had my first appointment for a routine eye exam and I could not have been more pleased with the quality of care and by the state-of-the-art facilities of the clinic. The clinic staff from the receptionists, technicians, and the doctor I met with were highly professional, efficient, and friendly. And as my Portuguese language skills are currently at an elementary level, I also greatly appreciated that everyone spoke very good English and there were no issues whatsoever with a language barrier. The appointment itself went like clockwork. It started on time, the technician was very efficient and helpful in administering the tests, and the doctor was very thoughtful and helpful with his assessment and recommendations. "The doctor I had a consultation with was kind and seemed knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience felt very unprofessional and disorganised. Communication was poor, especially over email and I had to follow up multiple times myself. If you decide to go here , be sure to ask for a clear breakdown of all costs in advance including any additional fees. However, based on my overall experience I would not recommend this clinic."
